Bye Week Update:
No massive changes after Virginia Tech was unable to score any points this week. The big game to note is the upcoming UNC game. Coming off of a huge upset win over an overrated FSU team at Tallahassee (how bout that kick, eh?) there's may be a little bit of Coastal hype for UNC. Tech's first real conference challenge may be a divisional semi-final game with Miami looming.
The Dame game is looking more and more winnable at 49.9%. Because of that 0.1%, the FPI is holding steady at 7-5 for VT. The hype is real for the Hooville Broncos as they've gained a 2% chance of winning in Lane after rattling off two straight victories. Just kidding - they're still gonna get their asses waxed.

I would keep the cursing to a minimum. Being the first to drop a F-bomb is a quick way to get yourself singled out when you don't know the people you are around.

Hokiegirl and other friends planning beach trips I would reschedule....I hate to be a negative Nancy right now but after much intoxicated debates my colleagues and I have agreed that while it's a slow moving storm taking a straight shot into Massachusetts and wont be a direct hit on north carolina (or south carolina) it's probably going to be gross and rainy out with a pretty not fun tied due to the storms. At this point weatherman shibe is saying 70% no go 30% go

David Teel tweeted and it said "VT and UNC 3:30 ABC or ESPN2 kickoff" Not sure if this means anything but thought I would share.
I had someone make the claim that the Atlantic was better than the Coastal.
My counter was that while the Atlantic might have the best teams in the ACC (FSU and Clemson, maybe Louisville), the rest of the division kind of sucked. Meanwhile, the Coastal has 5 teams with a legitimate shot at contending.
(This discussion was before this weekend.)
Yesterday was epic. UNC, Tenn, Clem, and PSU all had incredible finishes.
