When ECU fans approach Scottie Montgomery with a hooked finger shouting "ARRRRRRRG", Scottie Montgomery hands them a lozenge and recommends they get that finger checked out.

I know what I saw us do at Bristol.

In which case I think we also need to stop doing some of that, too

I'm just glad that Blanding and Brown are there to change the program and make them relevant again. Seems to be working well. #ThoroughBusts

Will be interesting to see if talent influences his style. At TCU, Fuente did much of the same. Don't believe any of the below were very highly recruited and believe Tucker was the only one that went NFL, one season as an undrafted free agent. Rushing statistics:

2009
Joseph Turner 147 carries
Matthew Tucker 105 carries
Ed Wesley 101 carries

2010
Ed Wesley 166 carries
Matthew Tucker 148 carries
Waymon James 87 carries

2011
Matthew Tucker 123 carries
Waymon James 121 carries
Ed Wesley 120 carries

There was another Noel record Evans broke/tied as well. Not sure how I feel about that.

Scottie Montgomery wants things to get "sucky".

(and to be clear, this was all within the context of a joke, but with Scottie Montgomery, it would get all serious.)

Execution and consistency are the key words. I wanna see how the team is doing in 6 games. I think it's better if the coaches approach this thing with need to improve steadily each week.

I think we need a signature win (Notre Dame) and win some quality acc games ( Miami, Unc, Pitt, etc) and win the games we are supposed to win.

Most of us had a 9 win season and I think we are right about there, let's hope for 10

I'll give you that but I still think groh is a better in game coach than mendenhall right now. That being said my opinion of mendenhall is pretty damn low right now

Haven't read the whole the thread, but I'm not sure anyone has said Lefty didn't leave us in a better spot than when he arrived. People are saying he's not a good Offensive Coordinator. Which is 100% fair. His scheme is far too complicated for college offenses. He put together some good game plans along the way but his consistency as a coordinator does not work in his favor. Comparing Fuente and Lefty on play calling isn't really fair. There's a reason Lefty's screen and jets didn't work and Fuente and Cornelson's do work. There is a reason he is at BC where offense is optional. I have nothing against the guy, but he wasn't a good fit at Offensive Coordinator and he remains that way. Would probably be fine as a QB coach somewhere.

Look at Tebow now...

...on the Mets. haha

So what you're saying is Scottie Montgomery is from Pennsylvania, home of the world's worst drivers.

Scottie is kind of driver who will cruse around 60 mph on 65 mph highway, and speed up the moment you try to overtake before slowing down again holding up traffic.
