Butch thinks recovering a fumble over the goal line in overtime proves your team is better.
You mean like a darkhorse to not finish last in the Atlantic?
something something, UVA lost...
Was just randomly thinking about UVAs loss against Richmond and realized that in the past 7 years UVA has two double digit losses against FCS teams (William and Mary in 2009.) That has to be some sort of record.
Butch Jones has Trump hands.
As much as I think Tech will handle Syracuse.
I could see Syracuse being a darkhorse this year for the ACC. Their QB looked good yesterday.
So -- can we start a thing where the top 3 from this thread turn into gameday signs please? Just for this Saturday.
Can't embed on iPad:
Here is one laying on counter at store, in my opinion it looks cheap and not close to what team is wearing. They are also already sold out.
Fuck Tennessee.
I've never had a problem with screens as a concept. However, our complete inability to execute them over the past decade was maddening. Honestly it got to the point that it felt like a relief if the outcome of a RB screen was throwing it into the ground and wasn't a huge loss of yardage or an INT. That's ridiculous and inexcusable. Screens are supposed to be a way to get skill players the ball in the open field where they can be dangerous. To say Stinespring, O'Cain, and Loeffler failed to accomplish that would be an understatement.
I am...especially the DL shift that kept getting the same guy to jump, loved it. (Kind of /s but kind of not after the 3rd one I was like "are they just going to keep shifting to keep this guy jumping??" Yes, yes they are.)
Rosie ODonell is more butch than Butch Jones
I'm with you, was at least hoping for a Bristol patch like in the pictures
Butch Jones texts and drives.
Butch thinks Wyatt's pancakes are just alright.
Butch Jones calls his Bristol game plan "Preparation H."
not quite, border of Nevada and California near Lake Tahoe
Are they serious? That is supposed to be a replica jersey? It doesn't even say Bristol or have the details that make or break the design. :/
Thanks for the link, though! Appreciated.
The replica looks more like a soccer kit.
OT kinda...that may have been the best ACC Network broadcast I've seen. Granted the bar was very low.
Thanks, not exactly what the players were wearing but still kinda neat
If Smokey were as ugly as Butch, I would shave his butt and tell him to walk backwards.

anyone else get the feeling that Fuente was rewarding those he felt worked hardest in practice with Liberty?
I'm suspecting that he will have Teller, McMillan and Shai in as starters for the rest of the season.
The best thing for me was how comfortable the passing game seemed. For years it always seemed our QB's checkdowns ran like this:
Route 1: Nope
Route .. no, Look back to Route 1: Nope
ok, now look to... oh wait Route 1 might get separation: Nope
take sack or force the throw to Route 1
Fuente's offense was smooth even in its incomplete passes. There was a confidence in the plays. Just night and day to me.
And the jump balls to Ford were crazy town. That corner is not a bad corner, but they were just killing him. To be able to throw those kinds of balls on purpose is killer.
Finally, I think what we saw was the tune-up. Basically we took it into 3rd gear. Tested out all the mechanics, speed, warmed up the engine, etc getting ready to open throttle and let it go.
