Teller was definitely making a difference. Pettit looked like he was on ice.
They are playing vanilla as well. Evans hit his stride on that last drive. I hope it continues in the 3rd and we can play second stringers in the 4th.
Just can't beat ourselves. I look at this as a preseason game where the coaches are trying to figure out how tough the offensive line is and seeing what pass plays work.
Next week we'll probably see check outs.
Really happy about an offense that sets up plays. The first TD was setup beautifully.
Main thing: a game day thread is a really bad place to try to make a statement about much of anything. Emotions are on knife's edge. It happens every game, and has for years. Sometimes people get aggravated by the combination of a rough patch in a game and then people seemingly ragging on players. Just keep that in mind.

I forgot how good he is. Like Freeman, he won't combine well but he's got the ball skills and body control of a guy who can play a long while in the NFL.

Trying to tell myself that correlation is not causation. But Teller gets on the field and we put together 2 TD drives with some nice runs up the middle.
That's called a back shoulder fade. Almost impossible to defend one on one if the refs are allowing contact.
