Let's see what that does to their grants, academic reputation, and enrollment when students find out they are attending a university without valid accreditation.
Which doesn't change my point that we belonged on the field with OSU last year. If you want to say we didn't belong three years ago, that's the only one I'd reasonably agree with.
Sounds like the Tennessee bowl game. 14 points first half, Vols didn't score again. VT didn't allow a second half point the final 5 games of the season that year.
I help coach a pee wee team. It's crazy the difference between the players that are natural at tackling versus needing lots of coaching and repetition. I would think that most athletes on the college level are more of the natural variety. The biggest help I would think they need is learning the speed and angles, which you can do without completing the tackle. I think there is a lot of validity to reducing the tackling in practice at the college level.
I find it hilarious that for once, not only is a recruit not using the chicken emoji for VT, but he is also using the turkey emoji for USCe.
Liberty is a perennially strong FCS program, they are not total pushovers like some FCS schools. Plus, we are their marquee game this year, so I expect their best punch. I would not be surprised to see them score first or even have a lead at the end of the first quarter. I do expect us to dominate them in the end with talent, but we are fielding a brand-new offensive scheme, and we don't want to unwrap too many plays to show Tennessee our offensive play-calling. I am looking for a result somewhere around 34-13 in the end.
That was great. I saw this posted this morning and have been looking forward to watching it all day, and it didn't disappoint.
One thing that stuck out to me was at the beginning, he talks about how fortunate he feels to be associated with the players. I'd be willing to bet that every single one of those guys who played for him would say that he got it backwards, and they're the ones who are fortunate to be associated with Frank Beamer.

Hey, for my purposes I liked the old site. There was a list of actual words down the left side. I clicked football, and it went to football. I could then click news, or schedule, etc., and boom. I'm sure we've come a long way since then, but current version seems like "we need something more fancy, this looks good". There are some useless school websites out there, though, and this isn't one of them.

and it's not just the athletic department. don't get me started on the alumni office which knows no bounds of technological ineptitude. There are just too many people in charge of technology that do not understand it. For an institution known as a "Tech" school that uses the moniker "Invent the Future" there is no excuse for how poor much of it is.

It's like smoking we need to go ahead and acknowledge football is terrible for you and you either make the choice to do it or you don't. Little kids honestly probably should not be doing it the same is there's an age for smoking to make decisions.

That's good and all, but I'm talking about it being an easy division now, how good it is in 3 years doesn't factor into what I was saying.
Well last season is the best indicator of next season's team, not 3 season's ago.

Amen. Pay a CS undergrad for a summer internship (cheap as all getout) and everything here gets fixed. I seriously don't understand why the Athletic Dept. hasn't leveraged our great computer engineering/computer science programs to make this happen.
