Is radio shack still a thing?
Nothing like some Bourbon and Ball sweat!
at 6'8 i really hope we can afford to leave him at PF, if we can't get a legit big in the next couple of years our success will be limited in the ACC
Buy the built in bra flasks
Or just keep airplane bottles in their bra?
I've gotten more amusement out of the videos in this thread than anything I can remember. Guess the conversion from innocence to sizzling hot holds a fascination with a lot of people, regardless of how many awards one may or may not win in the process. It's all good :--)
I've never heard teammates complaining of him being a locker room cancer either, but you don't earn a nickname like "MeAngelo" without displaying some prima donna tendencies, which does fit in with the general theme of this discussion. I believe he's matured as he aged and left the MeAngelo days behind him, but it is still a fair topic for discussion.
Probably. It seems like the BMS staff has been a step behind on everything ticket related from the get-go. I think they got too caught up trying to tack on NASCAR tickets to football game packages. I also know from #sauces that the seating arrangements are/were a flustercuck. They gave the best (non-battlefield) seats to people who bought the tickets as part of a NASCAR season ticket package, plus corporate sponsors, etc. The seats they allotted to the schools were the crappiest ones. I heard from aforementioned sauces that some big time donors from both schools were not pleased with their seats. So then you get down to the low level donors and they're stuck in the turns, up in row 90.
I personally know of major donor and then Hokie Club member going back 30+ years, football and basketball season ticket holder for almost 30 years and his set of tickets are on row 50, even with an end zone on the front stretch. While those are the best seats I've heard of anyone getting (small sample size of 5 or 6), they aren't good seats for someone who shells out major money to the school.
Okay. Yeah I'd been unsure about why a lot of people were
pretty sure it wasn't a catch. Didn't realize it hit the grass.
That was still a great game.
I understand going after the hats, but TMNT goes back much further than that and is totally awesome! I loved it back in the late 80s/early 90s and have lots of the toys, including the turtle van, the turtle blimp, and the technodrome stored in the loft of my dad's storage/workshop building to prove it.
That flask will not go through a metal detector or wand wave. Buy the built in bra flasks for your female companion instead. No metal, they carry more, and are much cheaper than medical augmentation, and easier to access.
Do have a suggestion on where else I can look? I don't really buy tickets to away/neutral games very often and have season tickets at VT. What are the alternatives to Stubhub? Also, if anyone reading this has 2 extra tickets for sale, I'm looking.
That's excellent info, thanks.
And I'm pretty sure the ACC held half the spots in the elite 8 and final four (although, based on the brackets the ACC were guaranteed to make half the final 4 once the elite 8 was settled). ACC isn't just a better BBall conference, year-over-year they perform better in the tourney (except UVA who always loses to a lower seed)
The Sugar Bowl catch should definitely be included in this discussion. It's probably the most relevant to the Pilot/UT situation. I was content to chalk the horrible decision up to simple incompetence until the trophy presentation, where the Allstate CEO started his speech with "As a proud Michigan alum" or something to that effect.
She is, truly, unbelievable
Or Horrible Bosses.
I've read this as well, but thought BMS would have come up with something by now. Maybe after tickets are shipped?
Have you watched We Are The Millers? I would put a gif but it's slightly NSFW. Regardless, it's proof that she has some weird gene where she never ages a day and looks just as good now as she did 20 years ago on Friends.
That sums it up.
A lot of Hokies will have a new enemy #1 after Sept 10.
Thanks! I was just trying to see which campgrounds are the best. It seems there are quite a few options so I was trying to see where everyone else was staying.
He was playing at 270 something last year, so kudos to him if that's true. He's still extremely raw no matter how high his upside is and missed spring due to injury which would have been important time for him to continue learning the position.
I................LIKE IT!!!!
Oh, I mostly agree with this. I just think that the critical elements of an athletic program are structural, not genetic. The history isn't what's important, it's the critical elements that are in place. The history might help sell the story better, but that's about it.
If you can attract a top coach (who in turn can attract and teach recruits), and you've got financial, facilities, and community support, you can transform a program. Those are the structural things that need to come together, and I think that's happening at VT. VT has the benefit of being in the ACC, which is huge, as it ensures that VT is playing with the best teams in the country. VT athletics also has what I consider to be elite and committed leadership in both Buzz and Whit. The next two years should be pretty interesting, so let's enjoy the ride.
Thanks for writing the article, and for weighing in on my comment.
bump

The weirdest thing about their fans at that game was the number of short, chubby Tennessee men (of all ages) and their female companions being significantly more attractive. Like someone needs to send some young men from out of state for these poor girls having to way under-kick their coverage.
