Fuentes rocks! Here is why... "I think it would be foolish for me to say we have to change the culture," Fuente said. "We may need to add to the culture. We may need to tweak some things in what we ask of the guys or how we need to go about things or things like that, but the culture is healthy."

He knows he is doing things differently, but he has come to Blacksburg, changed a few things and still found a way to honor Coach Beamer and the work he did for so many years. I love the vibes from this staff!

I propose to add a topic "Section" to TKP for LOLUVA. I think this has graduated from "Off Topic" and needs its own category. This will also save a lot of time during hate week. Do I have a second?

And essentially the Bills trade a first and second round pick this year plus a third round next year for this year's #2 overall.

Seems like a bit much to give up, when you do have a QB right now, however upset he might be. And this year's QB class is no 2012 class.

The funny thing is that Denver wanted Tyrod last year, but he made the decision to go to Buffalo for a chance at the starting gig (he rightly assessed there was no getting around Peyton last year). If he ends up on Denver it would be the ideal arc for him.
The real problem is that his agent should be fired for putting him in a two-year deal. He was the perfect candidate for a 1-year prove-it deal for 3 mil (standard back-up QB money) and right now he would be shopping himself around. Instead, he's stuck with another year of backup money behind a bad offensive line as players with less upside and less success are making out like bandits.

That opening paragraph made my head hurt. She could have done a better job of establishing that VT and LOLUVA have new coaching staff at the same time for the first time since 1974.

Other than that, the article did a great job of actually spelling out how bereft of discipline the London regime was. A pet mouse in the locker room? That's awful. Have some respect for the institution that employs you, and demand the same from your players.

The Fuller brothers were all raised in the same modest stone-and-aluminum-siding house around the corner from Woodlawn High (a school that figured prominently in the true crime podcast Serial; Vincent II was one year behind Adnan Syed)

I am amazed by this for some reason

I would say that Justin Williams will surely cure the Caps playoff woes, but then again, it may be the Caps that destroy Justin Williams' playoffs magic.

I still think that Minnesota made a huge mistake firing him. He turned around Texas Tech real quick, this is a really good hire for Memphis.

The Blues stole one last night. STL were pretty thoroughly outplayed, yet came away with a win in overtime. Not exactly the confidence-giving win Blues fans were looking for, but hey. A win is a win, right?

I feel the same as Caps fans. No way the Blues make it through round 1 without choking. Reading various comment sections of local newspapers, I can say I'm not alone in that thought.
