Per my comment above, no. Nor do I intend to. Just a recent string of injuries including two running backs and two corner backs, one of them a top NFL prospect, just make me suspicious. My initial comment was to bring to light another and very important role of the S&C coach. Injury prevention is just as important as Squat or Deadlift numbers to me.

Training in general will reduce even accidents. I never said this was a practice related injury. It's a fact that a more flexible/muscular individual is less likely to have a joint injury than someone who is untrained.

well duh. The Bristol game is just a preseason one after all. /s

I read he was offered as an OL or an athlete depending on what site you read. He seems pretty tall to play on the DL

I've recorded this entire series on TIVO, though I've only seen one episode. Couldn't convince my wife to watch, so I'll be going it alone, but it looks like a great series.

He did a presentation today in Buruss and listening to him speak just makes me appreciate him more and more. Not only as a coach but as a mentor. Hes completely focused on developing these players, not only on the field, but off. A lot of what he talked about had to deal with establishing senior leaders and holding everyone accountable. He even does leadership seminars with the players and has somewhat of a curriculum set up that will carry on into next fall.

I'm not a journalist by any means, but I really wish I had taken better notes during the presentation. But on a side note, during the Q&A portion, someone asked what he was doing differently to prepare for the upcoming game against Tennessee. He answered, "I'm not entirely concerned with a game at Bristol with 150,000 people in attendance. I'm more concerned about a Thursday night game in Pittsburgh with only 20,000 in attendance." This was something that stood out to me, showing that hes equally focused on the games that may seem less appealing.

Take it for what its worth, I wish I had more material for you all.
