It was definitely a consideration that was debated plenty. Ultimately, I made the call to keep it simple.

Thrilled to be able to support TKP! But really, it was all about the bottle opener. That thing is sweet!

On a side note, I'm one of those people who would rather donate monthly instead of all up front. I'm sure you've thought about it already, but I'm sure some of us would rather donate $8 monthly to cover the extra costs associated with the additional payment processing.

Believe he announces on April 22nd, so even if they did pull ahead as long as we can get him to visit before he commits we can get back in it hopefully.

I was so taken with masterpiece that is the bottle opener I would never had noticed the uneven flush lines in the thumb, the over trimmed and under polished nails, or the non-stock looking keys if not for the George reference. We have a collection of magnetic bottle openers on our basement beer fridge door from our travels (about 30 so far). Is it acceptable to attach a magnet to this opener and feature prominently, or is that abusing the intent?

Sorry - didn't mean to lead anyone astray. Was looking for some info on him. I know he was at UT this weekend and they think they are in good position. He is announcing soon. Was hoping someone else had some more info.
Apologies for not being more clear....

Solid question. TKP is priceless so it was hard to quantify with a value.

Honestly, I tried to find the sweet spot between what the greater community could potentially afford, and what would impact TKP the most. It's a bit presumptuous, but my hope is something that equates to $7 / month is manageable for those who value what we do here.

I would say it is similar to the BCS and I wouldn't call it token. I think this year, because of the restrictions of how it was set up, it is a little devalued but I wouldn't go as far to call it token. It is still top notch competition competing in dual meets with the best of the best being crowned the National Duals champion.

I asked around and the general word about Outlaw is he is most likely going to be able to play (Next Year).

Medical stuff is obviously not legally allowed to just float around so I doubt this is the official word but this is just what I've heard

Do you think that Buzz is really even listening yet? He is only in year 2 of the VT rebuild and is just now gaining ground in getting the fan base back. I thought initially that we would be able to keep him for at least 4 years or to the point where VT is at least a bubble team.

Other than Wisconsin/Okie St, what big time jobs are going to be open this off season anyway?
