Can't fault him for that. If your grades aren't getting you where you want to be, gotta make a change.
I have had family members make the same choice and some regret it but others do not.
As if him kidnapping the girl to murder her isn't screwed up enough...that poor girl her life kind of sounds like a living hell and I feel so bad for her
Definitely can eat on campus. West End is great, but also Turner Place (behind McBride). There's a Japanese Steakhouse/Sushi Bar where the chefs cook at the table (price is not unreasonable).
We went there for my daughter's birthday last spring when we were there for her campus tour. My wife's initial reaction when I suggested it was that we were not going to have the birthday dinner in a dining hall - but she was blown away. Not just good food, but nice decor as well.
Proud to say my daughter is all Hokie and will be enrolling this fall!
Well, I was totally wrong on the murder charge, and the more details that come out, the less hesitant I am about saying "fuck that guy." Wouldn't be surprised to see the prosecutor push for the death penalty in this one.
Edit: misread the statute. In order for the case to be capital, the prosecutor will have to prove abduction with intent to defile. I don't see that as likely unless we see some really disturbing shit come out, which I really hope is not the case.
Yea offer a student half the price of what you would have to pay and I'm sure they would accept that deal.
Your wallet will be significantly lighter, but yes the public can eat there.
It is accurate for me. I'm around 3900 and am in the dark green. I am a 2x2 aisle guy so I may have had some opportunity to move up to the 3500 orange level but passed on 4 together for my longtime seats 2x2 on the aisle and right below the breezeway. It is perfect for the young kids.
Everyone talks about VT dining can the public eat there? Need to try it next game day.
To be fair, I will always consider the drafting of Jimmy to be one of the best things to happen to the Panthers... Because if he didn't fall to the 2nd round where Hurney was salivating on using that first draft pick on him, there's absolutely no way we would have sucked enough in that 2010 season to be in a position to draft Cam #1.
You're damn right.

I had to cross reference your drinklowbrau link with the avatar on untappd to figure it out ha
I just realized today that we're currently on the only multi-year-bowl-winning-streak in school history. We've got that going for us!
Didn't feel like that deserved it's own thread, so it's here. :)
Let's hope we land a great OL class next year, and hopefully another JUCO or two

Looks like he wanted to focus on his school work.
"It really didn't have anything to do with the football aspect of it," Clark said over the phone Tuesday. "It was more of my education, honestly.
"I don't have anything bad to say about the football program. It was great and I really appreciate all the opportunities they've given me. It's just me and my family feel like it's better for me to go on as a full-time student. That way I can take more classes and have more time for internships and things I'd like to apply for."
Mine is danielvt11. Prepare for obscure PNW beers
Ha! Not even! I copied text from the post above me and pasted it into Google Translate from English to Swahili.
mine is sthogan. there's another historyhokie among us...
I was never the best soccer player, but I did play D1 in high school and went to VT with an opportunity to try out during the summer before my freshman year. Problem was, by that time I didn't love the game like I used to and didn't put in what I needed to in order to be successful at the college level.
Who knows if I even would have succeeded had I done everything right, but I had the same reaction you did. Just sort of shrugged my shoulders, walked away from it, and moved on to what was next. I also regret not putting 1000% into it, as I think it would have put me on a very different path in life had I been able to keep my focus, but it wasn't in the cards. Just like you, everything turned out fine, but I do wish I would have had a better head on my shoulders at the time.
I think if you get rid of the university a lot of the traffic will go with it
Awaiting the proper day to drink the WW Black Cherry Sour I received for Christmas. It was phenomenal fresh on the back porch on a warm summer day the first time i had it. ..
I mean I didn't mean to start anything. I don't "blog" much,
so when someone responds to my comment I assumed they
were directly commenting to me. I apologize....I just can't win.
Best of luck to you Austin, you will always be a Hokie!!
Only thing that could have been worse would be to draft and start Jimmy Clausen
... ain't that the truth. We all wondered what Marty Herney could possibly be thinking- but that was exceeded only by the stupidity of the Browns drafting Johnny Football

I have always assumed we had one. Especially after seeing this a few times on the highway....
Has Whit seen this? If he knew the Wahoos have a real truck, I'm sure he'd go out and get two for us!!
