I regret not going to more VT wrestling matches while I was at school. I went to 2 or 3 and really enjoyed the sport. And in a weird way miss hearing the guy in the stands yell over and over "PUT THE BABY TO BED!" every time a VT wrestler had any position advantage over the opponent.

Good for him if that's what he feels is the best for him scholastically it appears he has a good head on his shoulders. Also glad he did this early on then later when he might of been counted on to be a contributor as that at least gives his reps this spring to someone else.

Long considered by many as a linebacker recruit, Pine says he leans toward playing tight end in college. That doesn't mean Virginia Tech is necessarily the cap he'll put on his head.

Pine said Pittsburgh has indicated he'll get a shot at tight end, and in the wildcat at Iowa State he said he'll be kind of an H-back (lining up at tight end and in the backfield), taking the occasional snap. So, how will Pine decide?

"I'm hoping that I have a dream about it (Tuesday night) and I wake up and just know," he said Tuesday afternoon.

It would seem as if he is still undecided, which is a good thing, but my hunch says he sticks with Pitt unless Tech was really able to sell him on playing tight end.
