I don't know, I thought this was the worst called game by refs all year, but it seemed to go both ways in my opinion. Overall, Pitt was making shots and dominating the glass. It felt a lot like the Louisville game where we just could not scrap our way back in because they were too big and could make outside shots when they needed to. The refs were just miserable all around though.

That sucks. Hopefully we can pull Carter and/or Ross then. Getting some stud MLBs has to be a priority next year besides RB.

# | RTD: Where top 2016 recruits are going and how last 5 years of top kids did in College Yep, and we're doing better than ever out of state. We need to do better in-state, no doubt, because of the simple economics of the situation. Recruiting a kid costs money, it costs more money the further away a kid lives.
But in-state improvement isn't the only salve to soothe our recruiting wounds. Need better and better scouting, need to reach out into a broader geographic area, need better player development, need better social media, need more staff. If you scout better, develop better, communicate better with more staff, in-state recruiting will improve.

# | RTD: Where top 2016 recruits are going and how last 5 years of top kids did in College I believe (while I'm too lazy to do the research) that this is national trend - more kids are going to college further from home due to improvements in technology/communication (both at the person-to-person level, and at a media/broadcasting level).
The notion that VA kids are ours (or UVA's) to lose is ludicrous. Recruiting a kid from VA requires our staff to build relationships with coaches and kids, just as what would be required to recruit a kid from NC, or Florida, or Indiana, etc. The only difference is that, the further coaches recruit from Blacksburg, the higher the cost (both in dollars and time).

I don't know what it is about Pitt, but so many of our teams, whether it's football or basketball, just seem to get off the bus, not ready to play.
Seth Allen scored well, I can not say he played all that well. Too many times he was out of control and got a charging foul or a erant pass at a critical point in the game. It is his job to be the field general and he can not have these mental break-downs. D Wilson should not even be on the court, he is a liability at each end of the court. Pitt was sagging off of him and clogging up the passing lane when he didn't haave the ball and his defense is soft. And I still can't figure out Bibbs and Hudson, one game lots of points and the next game look completely out of sync. Our defense against the shooters was non existent, very slow to the ball.
My biggest fear is that this team doesn't shake it off and this starts an epic spiral down. Last night's game was a very embarrassing loss and a huge step back. Let's hope they can regroup and come ready to play on Tuesday.
Let's not forget the destruction of WVU on Friday night. Combined score of the two meets this weekend was 63-10 over WVU and UVa. That's a hell of a weekend for the good guys.
Well, that one was tough to watch. I will say, though, whatever Allen has been working on with his 3-ball, I hope he keeps it up!
I was at a wedding for the last half of the match. Checking my phone at the end to see the final score was awesome. Gotta love backhanding the Hoos.

I think that's spot on. I looked up my other favorite VT big boy Timmy Settle and he is listed on HokieSports as 6'3" 315 right now. I like Hewitt but he is not Settle sized.
I'm not sure what this has to do with wrestling, but I like it.

Curious that you specified "no women" instead of "no one." I'm going to assume that means there are men in those thongs.
I only saw 5 mins of the second half but that was my takeaway as well. I will say in those 5 mins, Pitt was playing as as well as any team I've seen this year, and if that 5 mins was a composite of the entire game, no one the league would have been able to stay with them yesterday. Just chalk it up to they played great.
Looks like he's recently followed Stroman and Ricky Walker....but the rest is a ton of Pitt stuff.
