Definitely another great reason to be a proud Virginia Tech Civil and Environmental Engineer!
West End
Thursday night game. YESSSSSSS!!
"If Fuente Offense can manage 42 points per game, Bud Foster defense could take VT to the playoffs."
If his offense can manage 42 points per game for the entire season, I'll drink four rails in one night.
Gotcha. So you are trying to catch them while cobia fishing and can use them for live bait then... Definitely seems weird that bluefish are so finicky for you in that situation. As you were saying, they are pretty aggressive feeders.

Just says assistant coach.
That's what i was wondering. Went to find his twitter account for some hope of mention and couldn't find the account. I swear he had one.

For those who love to comment, this is best offer notification tweet yet. Well said and no errors.
In the reals, kid is going to be huge. Still more time to grow and move up charts. Love that he is extremely excited about it too. Hope that means our chances are high.
There hasn't be a good steak in the Burg since the Sizzler left.
That was what I noticed as well. What a pathetic schedule
I've heard Palisades is a unique experience and ribeye is my favorite cut. Might have to try that one if we have time tomorrow night.
Well, it's Blacksburg so there's not a lot of places that fit the description. Local here.
To me, the highest quality food in Blacksburg is The Black Hen (http://www.theblackhenrestaurant.com/). They've renovated in the old sushi bar / tapas building formerly part of Poor Billy's into a much more contemporary feel. Highly recommended in general.
From other experience, I've had filets at Preston's at the Inn at Virginia Tech; everything is underwhelming there. Avoid at all costs. I'm not even going to post a link to their site because that's how much I dislike it.
I've also had filets at the Summit Restaurant (http://www.summitrestaurant.us/) in Christiansburg with mixed results. Chef Abdul tends to rush his meals lately, and I ended up with an overcooked one last time out.
Not truly steak related, but I am a huge fan in general of the Palisades (http://www.thepalisadesrestaurant.com/) which is 25 minutes down the road in Eggleston mainly for the atmosphere and high quality, reasonably priced food (local farm ingredients, hand made). This is my go-to spot to take the missus on date nights. They're not in any way a "steak place" and they only serve a ribeye, but reasonably priced and well made.
Love, love, love Pal's. I wish he would open one in Roanoke.
Great burgers, ham and cheese sandwiches, frenchie fries and tea. Their breakfast beats all fast food options too.
Pick your position transfer joke.
Rogers: QB to FB
Hodges: QB to TE
McMillian: QB to RB
Teller: DL to OL
LT3: TE to QB
way too often under Newsome: TE to OL
I was alluding to the last one, but any and all are fair game.

Have you been eating fermented alfalfa or something?
Edit: it would be an awesome once in a lifetime opportunity for you and your pops.
Those doors in the back is the speed and agility room. Although, I'd imagine they are just showing off how clean it looks in there since they dumped some of the old equipment that no one in there used.
...as such, I am a huge
Notre Dame fanVirginia Tech fan.
FTFY
It's pronounced "Kevin".
Speaking of Miami, their first three games are pretty damn comical...but I kinda wanna go to the App State game, Boone is gonna be rockin.
I like the schedule. Ten games easy. But can I play Jesus's Advocate for a minute?
My grandfather was a huge Notre Dame fan, and, as such, my dad is a huge Notre Dame fan and, as such, I am a huge Notre Dame fan. Given that my alma mater is traveling to South Bend this year, I'd like to give my dad the greatest Father's Day gift of all time and get two tickets to the Notre Dame game.
If anyone gets two of those tickets that they can spare, I would be pleased and honored to take them off their hands. Thanks
I agree, I don't care how bad Syracuse is, I hate playing up there. I think of it like Pitt, for some reason we never play well there
As bad of football withdrawl I will be going through at that point, I would seriously consider it. I will probably be up at 7:30 to watch it myself. 18 hours of football watching will be the goal that day.

If you want a solid "fancy night out" restaurant in the Blacksburg area, Palisades is your best bet. I had a professor who talked all the time about how Blacksburg needed a restaurant in town that had a little "wow factor" to bring your family/work guests too when you're trying to impress
