It is his alma mater, so I'm not altogether surprised.
I wish they had said what his job would be, though.
True. Especially since HS relationships almost always survive college.
Hopefully someone is telling him to go to the school he likes the best and see if the GF and him work out, because picking a school mostly because of the GF that odds are you wont have in a year is a bad choice.
Hard to fight the girlfriend!
Both Rivals and 247 seem to think the battle is between Auburn and South Carolina. He does apparently have a good relationship with TG, but his girlfriend is going to Auburn FWIW. But you always have a chance if you can get him on campus!
My biggest concern is this: 4th OL coach in 5 years.
Hope that schematically there isn't a huge difference between Searels & Vice.
Wow. This.... is probably not going to advance his career. I really thought someone in the lower divisions might take a chance with him at HC.
Makes sense. Damn college football has some confusing championship history
Character apparently moved both of his visits so that he could come to Tech for an OV.
This seems like a good sign that he is still seriously interested in us. Thoughts?
@Joe: Would love something like this on TKP. I recently took my first trip over to TSL and saw potential in their recruiting target board. Just thought I'd throw that in to the suggestions box.

That was entirely dependent on whether or not there was a home game in October?
you gotta give him more credit than that!!! he's not a Wahoo...afterall
Bristol is day after mine.
They do, for the second straight year, but I don't think it was intentional. I believe someone else backed out of a home-and-home, leaving them to scramble for a schedule filler.
If he is from Charlotte, then we really need to play up theat we have both a Cook Out AND a Bojangles: Two North Carolina based staples.
We also have Justin Fuente who is going to turn Bucky Hodges into Bucky Gronhodgekowski, and that will be a nice precedent for Drake.
Let's just hope Meek Mill doesn't show up on the offer list or this kid may not want to come to VT...
The one downside to playing them at Thanksgiving, not having the satisfaction of being the team that eliminates them from the post season.
Shooting for 4 wins?
Edit: ignore, double posted
They certainly didn't do us any favors by scheduling Miami on a Thursday with no bye leading in. Fortunately, we get that one at home and Miami doesn't get a bye week either. Catching them after they host UNC could be a boost as well.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 0.000001%
Interesting that our only home game in October is the Thursday night.
Anyone know what this means for our Homecoming game (AKA the single game where most of my alumni friends all come back to town at once)?
I'd hate for it to be against ECU, but I also doubt they'd wait till November to have Homecoming.

# | 2016 OT/DE Silas Dzansi Commits to the Hokies Immediately After Receiving Offer Well we did the TE to OL move a bunch, so I don't say it's a stark contrast to how we've filled out that area in the past.
Well, once again, long-distance season ticket holding alums have to travel effectively 4 weeks in a row in Sept. counting the Bristol game and no Sat. game in Oct., the best time for football at Tech. I like that we only have one weeknight game, but front loading the home schedule sucks for the traveling fans.
She certainly knows how to get views.

Great, you'll be delighted to know that 2018 is well underway, and early scouting of 2019 has probably begun too.
