It seems like it varies from game to game who is gonna be smoking. If we could get, out of the ones most cable of getting 15-20 points, 3 per game instead of one or two, we could hang more. Obviously, our D has to be more consistent along with that.
I would love to see Springers start heading to VT again
He's saying all of the right things but can he play golf? We need him to start representing VT for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge (golf tournament).
If he ever does participate, I wonder if he's allowed to invite Frank Beamer as his "celebrity" teammate. That would be pretty cool having the new and old coach battling side by side.
Really wish the ACC would do away with the camp rules so we could see Fuente and Co. Get out there.
Yeah, we still have a long way to go. Progress doe.
Can we score 40 points and gain 500 yrds a game? Fuente: growls...NOOOooo. Hahahaha. At least he gets it. He might have to put Sam Rogers on the tracks to stop the hype train though.
I think that's exactly what they did but they used the Green Bay-Arizona coin flip.
I didn't even know they tore Davidson down. But I did find a webcam of the renovation. There's even a link to a time-lapse view.
Cool.
i disagree, I felt like he was more Kyle Korver.
If they truly are an emergency option and do not play, they can still redshirt
Im pretty sure he can dress one of the guys and as long as they dont get in the game, redshirt them after the fact.
I consider JJ in that same "if he doesn't start, he'll redshirt" boat.
The only way it gets messy is if Motley wins the starting job. Settling on a backup will be a nightmare for Fuente. Who loses a year of eligibility to ride the bench and be an emergency option?
If he was 100% WF he wouldn't be taking an OV to Maryland next weekend. But I agree that he likely won't get an offer unless things completely fall off with Pigrome and Wells
I think as the Baylor game showed UNC wasn't a top 10 team
They would have beat South Carolina if he hadn't thrown 2 INTs in the endzone but Fedora didn't want to give Hood the ball inside the redzone. The ACCCG was very close to being the squaring off of two undefeated teams.
They're usually more of a pain in our knees.
Was at the game... Phenomenal to watch.
One word to describe the team: resilient
We had that in 2015 too.
Sam Rogers is the next Sam Rogers and will be the next Sam Rogers after that.
dortch is not getting an offer and is 100% wake commit. would be shocked to see that change.
Lack of depth cost us in the '96 Orange Bowl vs. Nebraska as well. Our 1s matched up well with their 1s, and IIRC we were winning at halftime. As both teams started subbing in backups in the 2nd half, however, there was a huge dropoff for us and not so much for Neb. Keep in mind that this was back when Neb was in the national championship picture every year (they won in '95 and '97).
This isn't just a phenomenon in the ACC either - highly ranked teams are dropping like flies everywhere.
There's no consensus #1 team in the country this year, which makes it one of the more fun years in college basketball that I can remember.
We have turkeys now on some operating platforms.
I hope we offer his teammate Greg Dortch the Torch (very VERY small but could be an excellent return man). Both were clutch in winning the VA State Title.

Best stat of all? 4-1 start in Conference play
