I don't know, rolling Tyrod out of the pocket made corners crap themselves, I am sure sure a few times the press corner left their man for the QB run or Tyrod busted some long sideline runs before gracefully stepping out of bounds would have the defense rethinking their plan.

Cassell is paid for.
How long would it take to pay off a $100+ million building. Is it realistic to average an event every other day (30-40 baskteball + 120 more days). If I weren't lazy I guess I could look at Bryce Jordan at PSU.
Old buildings don't hurt Kansas or duke (the multiple national championships certainly help). Winning will make Cassell a great env.
The end goal definitely needs to be this! My in-laws live in Charlottesville and go to LOTS of broadway shows, concerts, and the like at JPJ. We took the family a few years back for some sort of Disney show and I've attended a few UVA basketball games (which could also be mistaken as a Disney show) cheering like crazy for the visiting team. I do want the record to show that I did NOT pay for said basketball tickets.
Most importantly, Whit will have an easier chance of actually getting Metallica on campus with a new arena. Stinkin' UVA has had Metallica on campus already which is just unacceptable. Now we just need someone to throw down some mega bucks to make it happen!
If we don't beat UT next year it will damage my soul. Those who do not live amongst a sea of lame ass yellowish orange '98 NC sweatshirts just cannot understand. Please oh please.....

I hate the comittiee, it puts way too much human element into the rankings. I mean it seems the criteria changes from week to week. The BCS, in all its flaws, wasn't bad, it just left some good teams out of the top 2 (which is obviously easy to do when you only pick 2 teams). Gives me the BCS polls and make the playoff 8 teams and you have the perfect system.
Except Spurriers "retirement" started 2 months ago.
Is Stiney really that good of a recruiter? He might be great at recruiting 3 stars with surprisingly high ceilings, but our lunch has been eaten in this state for way too long now. Would love other opinions here.

Must have been something they saw on film. They would have had it had our guy not ran it down from behind and saved it. There were blockers for days out in front of that play. We dodged a bullet there.

# | Cassell Coliseum Catch-All Thread - Likes, Dislikes, Wants, etc. I was just going to say to cut some vents in the roof to keep the place from being a sauna and add some better scoreboard banners. Otherwise the usual stuff of move the students closer to the court. I think they should look at a way to hold concerts and other events that typically are held in Burrus or have to be Roanoke. Otherwise, I think the rounded shape reverbs the noise and keeps the place loud so no need to build a new stadium.
That's ok. To me, justice was exacted this past Sat night. World keeps turning.
Does Fuente use any 2-3 TE sets in his system (getting excited if so)??
We beat *one* team with a winning record. 4 out of the 5 power-5 teams we beat finished dead- or second-to-last in their division (BC, GT, UVA, Purdue).

You're right. And with the talent we have we should have been. I think Fuente is a proven offensive mind which is in stark contrast to Loeffler. I had hopes for Loeffler, and he's not an idiotic moron when it comes to offense, but he doesn't have the track record that Fuente has. I am much more confident in Fuente's ability to take this team into that range offensively than I ever was in Loeffler.
I really think it's time for Shane to get his shot as an HC anywhere other than Tech. I don't think keeping him on as RB coach would really be beneficial for his career, as much as I'm sure he would like to stay in Blacksburg at this stage of his life. Unfortunately, the nature of the business is that coaches have to move around to stay employed. His dad was the exception, but that time has passed.
The sooner he gets HC experience, the sooner he can figure out what his future in coaching really should be (HC, coordinator, position coach, etc).
I think part of this was Dabo making sure everyone knew he had nothing to do with the terrible decision.
