Urban Meyer always has more than 10 items but still uses the express line:

It's also not so bad to get 'free' prime seats to all home football games and all expenses paid trips to a couple nearby away games and all of the postseason (depending on the importance of said postseason game).

So yeah, there are tangible perks, but they're worked for.

I don't mind the list, although provided they've limited this to the scope of wins since we joined the ACC, I don't really agree with the 04 WVU game being the top one. I'd have rather seen the 07 ACCCG on there (sweet BC revenge catapulting us to a #3 BCS ranking), and possibly the 2010 NC State game (since it was our largest comeback victory under Beamer to that point).

If it's truly program history 03 Miami would be #1 for me and the 95 Sugar Bowl would be #2 with last year's OSU #3. After that I guess I'd likely include the 2010 ACC Title Game as #4 and 07 ACC Title Game as #5. I think hardware matters in these lists although the ACCDN didn't really seem to consider that.

I hope you're right. Also, every book I've looked at has OSU -14 to 14.5 it was 11 up until a couple days ago. It has gone up. And yes, I realize how the spread works, I've placed my share of wagers on sporting events.

That's principally why I disagree with their list. They say "program history" but they really mean "program history during the ACC era," in which case they should just say "since 2004."

Damn, no scholarships, 1 credit, a sandwich and possibly a pop tart?

I have definitely gained much more respect for the MVs after watching this. I had no idea.

I've always said that the bands are part of what makes college football. Thank you to all MVs past and present.

I've been refereed to as Jenny MacArthur from the League.. and yes I do love football!

You remind me a lot of a friend of mine from college. Basically one of the dudes who loves football while also very open about the goods. I'm shocked I have discovered two unicorns in my lifetime.

Dave nails it. The band members put in a lot more time an effort than the 1 credit payoff would indicate, but nobody that stays in the band for more than a season would trade that for the world. It's easily the thing I miss most from my time as a student.

I'm glad they finally got a space of their own. As others have alluded to, the MVs aren't the most technical band, nor the most musically superior. BUT I guarantee they support the team as hard as anybody in Lane on any given gameday, and we're fortunate that there are so many students who love music and band enough to essentially use their free time to do that.

Well, Ms. Downer, I think you've let everyone convince you that what is possible is not possible. Turn your TV off until Monday at 7:59 Eastern Time. After that Tech victory do not, for any reason, turn that TV on again until game time in Bristol next year. I suggest for therapy, you attend some pre-k classes and watch those folks. They can do anything.

I kissed urban meyer's wife and I liked it.. taste of her cherry chap stick

My in laws went lived up there for a few years, the one time we went for Chrismas and we're looking forward to the snow there was not a single snowflake to be seen. Just cold and dreary.
