my money is on troll

I believe we have a anOSU troll masquerading as one of us

getting the 2 large pepperoni pizzas for $8 was a weekly tradition in my dorm ('04-'07). The prices steadily went up with no increase in quality and the owner ended up selling the place. The new management did a huge push with new ingredients/recipes/marketing to try and shake the stigma (crappy cheap pizza). Last time I had it, it was good, reasonably priced pizza, but it's been a few years (had to go gluten free so pizza got the axe).

Ok, I have a question for the locals. Where is the cheapest and best place to buy Hokie gear in Christiansburg? Thanks

The best part about the last episode is that there is only one more episode to drop beauts' like this one:

"Guy's been around the last three months less than my wife's period."

Uggghhhhh...

To steal two lines from The Atlantic's roundtable review:

"I wish you well in your bid for dramatic respect, Vince Vaughn. But you've chosen the wrong muse in Pizzolatto."

"I sincerely doubt that motel offers room service."

The great thing about Gumby's was the "big damn pizza." It was so big. Plus pokey sticks. You could easily feed a handful of people. My other favorite crappy pizza was Firehouse Pizza. You could get a large pepperoni pizza for $4. This was in the `03-`06 range. Prices have probably went up since then. I mean the pizza wasn't great but for $4, who cares?

Calm down man. Try having an intelligent conversation and treating other people with respect for once.

Eh, I find it hard to argue that our team last year was a better caliber than Oregon and Bama. We did, remember, lose rather pathetically to Wake.

While we played very well against OSU and earned that win, let's not get carried away. Last season proved that while we can beat the best, we can also lose to the worst.

Back in the late 90's early 00's they did it. We never had the 5 star guys, but would outwork everyone. We had gas in the tank in the 4th quarter and just pwned other teams. It was a little before the lunch pail started, and embodied the same thought process and just out working the opponent.

not be a downer, but I hate lists like this. It's one thing to rank players by position ("Dadi is the 3rd best DE in college football"), but how the heck are you supposed to really compare across positions? Even if you argue "well, this player affected the outcome of the game more than any other player" it's very subjective. No one can give me a hard and fast ranking technique for comparing the effect of a good punter verses a good line backer on the outcome of games (though I'm sure ESPN is working furiously to come up with some BS algorithm).

Even the draft doesn't really pick the best overall players. If the team with the first pick already has their QB of the future and has a serious need at OT, no way they're gonna use their pick on a QB. So the first overall pick is usually the best player at a specific position of need for the team with the first pick.

rant over

[insert obligatory "Dadi is so awesome, I can't believe he's so far down this list" comment]
