Do you have quantifiable data to back this up? Our recruiting, if you want to dive into data from the highly acclaimed and accredited recruiting sites, has been exactly the same for the past ten years. We rank in the mid 20s pretty much every year. I think our worse rank is low 30s in 2011.
The main reason it "looks" like our recruiting is getting worse is actually because we're getting more attention from highly rank recruits than we ever had before. So when they ultimately pick someone else, it looks like we "loss them" when in actuality, we used to never be in any of their Top 10, 5, 3 etc.
Everyone gets so bent out of shape when we miss on a guy who had us in his top 3, when we should all be more upset when VT can't even crack a guy's Top 15.
Trust me friend... you really don't want to know... I made it through 3 cans of my six... had to jettison the rest!
I would assume all the cards would be on the table in court. I just don't see how Brady can possibly prove he was cooperative, which is the primary reason for the suspension. I can't believe that any federal judge is going to be happy to be hearing a case about ball pressure anyway.
I seriously doubt a decision has been made behind the scenes. There is still football to be played before this group has proven itself capable of taking VT to the next level, and that is the criterion.

A year or two? If VT beats Ohio State twice in a row (with a national championship between those two games), nobody I care about is going to care which players played the next day.
Ok people with tickets where should I get seats at? It will be my wife and I and maybe a child. So would prefer to not be in the middle of students/people having too much liquid courage fun.

Or Bo Pelini (Nebraska) and probably will be the case for Narduzzi (Pitt) and I'm sure there's more.
However, the main difference is that each of those coaches went somewhere new to become a HC. For Bud, he doesn't have to reinvent the wheel. He already has the players he wants/wanted (for the most part). And he's already familiar with the Administrative Staff, Boosters, fans, etc. He literally just has to keep the wheels in motion and follow the groundwork laid out by Frank. He's had a front row seat, for almost 30 years, to see what it takes to be a successful head coach at Virginia Tech.
Now, if he takes a complete 180 and makes a bunch of changes for the sake of "taking his own path". Then it's completely up in the air at how successful he'll be.
And in a year or two, all people will see is the score and that we beat them twice in a row, with the second beating coming when they were preseason ranked #1. People have short memories.

I don't see a single thing in that quote that says that Thomas is increasingly unlikely to make the 75 man roster or that he fell behind Philip Sims for the #3 slot.
What it does say is that fall camp will be important for him (duh) and that Arrians wasn't pleased with any of the three #3 candidates (which means that the biggest threat to LT is not Sims, but likely some unknown QB on a different roster that could get cut or traded in late August)
Man, I know some of y'all hate ESPN, but I love Jay Crawford. He just always looks like he is having fun.
I don't see a single thing in that link that states anything remotely like what was stated above.
I really never find it much of a trouble to get alcohol into the stadium if I want to. It's certainly not worth the premium of club seats to me to avoid it.
These are some comments I made in a thread in late Nov last year (before anyone outside of Ohio even knew who Cardale Jones was) re: a potential QB controversy at OSU in 2015.

Ok I had the position wrong (Elliot hadn't exploded yet either!), but if an idiot like me could figure this out 8 months+ ago (before a 3rd option even entered the picture), you can guarantee that deliberation and discussion has been going on internally for quite some time.
And as an aside, I'll bet that Bud Foster, et al weren't seriously gameplanning for Braxton Miller at QB either...
To Reavis' attorney and the University:
The Mods at 11W are pretty good about leaving stuff up unless it is a dupe or a troll. The poster there that I saw has very little credibility and until it gets legs from me reliable sources I'm going to wait and see. It could happen but no one has offered any real info beyond "suspensions coming..."
Heard him on the phone in the hallway last Friday and it very much sounded like he is going to be leaving. Whoever he was talking to, he mentioned "and he is going to try and convince me to stay, but I'm not."
But i hate the Cowboys, so i approve of Hokies not being there.
Still, want to see RMFW somewhere in three NFL.
The OSU fans that come over to TKP are good people. But after reading 11W for a minute or two....wow.
If I didn't know any better, every offensive skill player they have is the greatest ever and the VT defense has zero chance of even being a speed bump.
It reads more like comments under a YouTube video...200 people asking the same questions and repeating the same non-answers or snarky replies as if they haven't read anything posted above.
