The ACCN is more about the appeal of ALL sports. While the SECN is airing football reruns from Dec-Jun, the ACCN could be airing basketball, baseball, wrestling tournaments, soccer, etc. The ACC is probably the best overall athletic conference in the country, IMO. Then consider the fact that it controls essentially the entire mid-Atlantic television market, DC, and a presence in the northeast (BC, Cuse, ND), it's absolutely ridiculous that no one has gotten the ACCN off the ground yet. Now, with our TV rights signed over and with ESPN for the next 10 years, and with ESPN cutting the budget, I don't think the ACCN is ever going to happen. The conference's leadership and foresight have really been lacking, IMHO. I'm sure Pinehurst is well-organized and a great week, but big picture, the ACC is really lagging behind.
I see him having a season with lots of good memories, and leaving on a high note.

They WHAT!?!? Why those....

Hard to find truer words here, except when they cut loluva down to size.

My parents definitely wasted a good three years of cotillion on me.
I love it how that trick always works.
NEVER GO TO FED-EX FIELD. Nothing good can happen there.
I read his novel "Galveston" after watching season one. In both, he wrote a very good story, and just didn't seem to be able to end it the right way. Hoping he breaks that cycle this season.
There have been numerous problems with Raycom broadcasting games, and it does make the ACC look incompetent, but it's an entirely different issue with any issues the media had at ACC Kickoff. If you have an axe to grind against the ACC, then lumping everything together is the argument to make. Otherwise, there's much more nuance and context.
The SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12 all have the same issues at their preseason media events. They also all have television deals. The ACC has one traditional football power to market to television audiences. The SEC has almost an entire conference full of them. The Big Ten has Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. The Pac-12 has USC, and more importantly a captive west coast audience.
I made the joke about Georgia Tech's media guide because I make jokes. However, I sat next to two media members who were using it to take notes while interviewing Georgia Tech representatives. All the other media guides are going to end up on bookshelves and in recycling bins.
Not what we're talking about. Aaron Moorehead set him up to take out some dude by saying it was the wife's rapist, and it wasn't. So now Colin Farrell realizes that he sold his soul for nothing.
No way that is a 150 pound mahi-mahi either. I caught them in Hawaii back in the 90's when I was stationed there with the Navy and that fish looks more like 50-60 pound range. Could be wrong since photographic perspective can be distorted, but you are correct, that is not a tarpon.
Rather have the mahi myself, they are SOOOO good to grill fresh off the boat. Hawaii spoiled me on ever eating pre-frozen fish, the fresh-caught variety coming in off the sport-fishing vessels everyday is delicious beyond belief. I hear that tarpon are great fighters, but not a fish you want to eat. I miss fishing, sigh....
She looks as though she's seen something...ENORMOUS?
My issue this is not a one time problem with the ACC, the TV coverage with Raycom had numerous issues this year. They seem to be behind in getting some kind of network together. To me it speaks to not being prepared which could see the ACC and VT being left behind in the money and prestige in coming years. It's little things but things that matter especially when it effects the media covering your conference or event. While I don't doubt the actual event is well done in terms of the venue, things to do and some faclties this is an event the ACC should have had all the kinks worked out months ago. This is a reflection on the ACC as a whole, to let GT have a sheet of paper as their media guide. As for the embed I didn't go to their website I was going off their Facebook posts, I also was not the only one having issues with sound during the video but then using their embed link. While I'm not great at this tech stuff you have made this site easy to use I would hope an organization that makes millions and employs how many could do just as well as you have.
This is not the Courtney Cox you are looking for

Make mine a double as well. Pound that liver like never before!
This gif gets old and overused

*dork magic
I wonder if she'll tweet he's the brewmaster tomorrow morning?
Casa de Jander has a stocked mini-fridge and a pull-out couch with reasonable rates...
What I also like is the marketing aspect of it. Belmar is clearly and obviously an appropriate and 100% marketable name for an LB. F-k yea!

Thanks!
...and change that shirt, hippie!
