How can Michael Vick not be mentioned here?

His scramble vs. WVU to put us in field goal position?

Or even his performance in the MNC 1999 vs. FSU eventhough we lost. Even Bowden said that was one of the best games hes ever seen someone play.

Druck busted a couple of big plays, but it was more busted coverage by Still. If you want to pick an offensive performance from 1995, I would give it to Dwayne Thomas vs Miami.

Definitely a huge win, and 266 yards, 1 TD and 1 int isn't bad by any means, but it's not outstanding either. Or maybe I'm just not taking into account how much offenses have changed in the last 20 years?

i was going to say this, along with :

Andre Davis vs WVU in 2000 - 3 touchdowns 3 different ways, (thanks wayne ward on the punt return) - all in the third quarter.....

Statistically, Bryan Randall had probably two of the greatest single-game performances by a VT QB, although both were in a losing effort.

2002 vs Syracuse: 23-35 (65.7%) 504 yards, 5 TDs (but 3 INTS), 1 Rushing TD
2003 Insight Bowl vs Cal: 24-34 (70.6%) 398 yards, 4 TDs 0 INTS, 1 Rushing TD (he and Aaron Rodgers were really dueling it out in that one)

Top "Beamerball" performance in a single game- Clemson 2007 (Actually all this happened in the first half.)

Eddie Royal housed a PR, Macho housed a KR, and D.J. Parker got a pick 6. Royal would've had another TD PR if not for a penalty.

"In the interest of public safety, we have taken extraordinary measures to keep our players out of bars."
- Jimbo Fisher, probably

Speaking of Russell Wilson, how about Cody Grimm's performance against NC State in 2009. Guy came out of the gate all over the ball. Honorable mention for best performance in a quarter/half.
