Saying something is cheap looking is not very enlightening in to what about the jerseys you don't like. I'm going to assume it is because you think they look plain, not enough color highlights on the grey jersey. I'll take those over unreadable numbers any day.

close by to Highway 17, a little white church behind you?

Hey I get it. We "hate" scUM. I was raised with it, and have maintained it (it's my solemn obligation as a Buckeye) - as long as we are talking about hate in the sports sense where you poke a little fun at the other guys, but not wishing any real harm to them. And I'm sure that's what you are talking about too, but not everyone in a fan base is well-hinged, and cannot distinguish between sports hate and literal hate. I get a little worried when I hear something that blurs the line between the two.

But hate is what makes rivalries great. It makes the victories so much sweeter, but it also makes the defeats more miserable. ScUM has been so pitiful for so long that I have had to fight the urge to feel a slight bit of sympathy for them, but the hate must be maintained.

ScUM has this air of superiority about it, and I'm not quite sure what it is based on. It is a fine academic institution, but when they are getting their ass kicked on the football field, you get "Yeah, but our journalism school is better than yours." Uh, ok. All B1G schools are AAU members, have high academic standards, and are premier research institutions. OSU has an enrollment of 55,000 and I know kids who had 3.8 GPA's and ACT's of 28-29 that couldn't get in! They have to go to a branch, maintain a high GPA, and then they have a shot at going to Cbus. So, I have never understood their academic arrogance. It's not like the class flunkies are getting into OSU.

I am not that familiar with UVa, but I know they have a pretty good academic reputation. Do they do the same thing? Is that part of the basis for the hate in the rivalry?

Don't have Hokie plates in SC YET, until then

TIL the meaning of 'nihilism'.

But I totally agree.

the first comment was to give perspective that they were going to get him a lot of reps to see if he could handle it. He hasn't handled it well, which is pretty obvious to everyone but you.

I get that it is 1 guy doing all of this but it was really just a regurgitation of stats from the last few years. It gave really 0 insight into this season. I got a little nauseous reading it with the format.

Just got this one a few months ago when I moved into DC: (a little surprised it was available)

When I lived in Arizona in 2012 (and had two personal vehicles), I had to represent VT out west with these:

The AZ plates are now wall decorations for the man cave.

Holy crap I had to guess on half of those acroynyms. Maybe he could add like a half a page more and just spell the words out. What's with all the shorthand? Did a court reporter write that thing??

Not the tags, but I figure this is as good of an opportunity as any: My subtle-ish Hokie themed hybrid.

About 95% of that forecast is discussing past performances and the 2014 team. Unless the meaning of "forecast" has changed, it seems more like a 2014 "recap", even if it shows pretty clearly where Phil thinks the team is going.

I guess the forecast was going to be in that last 1 1/2 lines that were left blank?

At least its a dry heat!

EDIT: I probably shouldve indicated the sarcastica font. I was mainly making a Jeff Dunham joke. I agree with you EPHokie

I was there, and had a few UGA fans in my face by half-time. It didn't help that my friends and I had made signs. And, to say that times haven't changed much, the signs were a giant light switch in the "Off" position, and a "fence".

I mean, you don't really need "Defense" signs when you're typically a top 10 defense. But SOMEONE had to cheer for the offense to actually work.
