I missed the red card controversy. What happened?
I don't even care about missing on Whitehead because the portal every year gives and takes away (sometimes recruits missed on in earlier years) and we have a really good class anyways and are apparently over in numbers since my last question. I'd like to see us get a good balance at every position where it is talented, competitive, and deep. The ones who lose their spot I wish them well at their next stop but I want to see the floor get elevated. As long as we are in the conversation of a top 25 recruiting class, developing well, and portaling well then I can live with the misses and the transfers. Just be good, deep, and win!

yes, we should promote getting a degree
When my dad played golf in thr 60s he couldn't play his freshmen year and engineering was s 5 year degree for just about everyone that couldn't take 24 credits a semester which was 95% of engineers.
Also only about 39% us students graduate in 4 years with 56% in 5 years and 62% graduate in 6 years. So 5 makes a lot of sense from scholarship/attending class standpoint.
We already allow 4.3 years of play. Just remove red shirts and be done.

His first "goal" was ruled offsides. Technically, he put the ball in the net 4 times last night. 3 counted. Still think he should've been red carded though

I don't think so, his first and 3rd were from outside the box, the second was a rebound. The VAR review of the offsides is also in play on every goal and called one back from the US.

I am just weirdly happy that we are back to the point of being bummed about missing on a 5 because we had a realistic shot and got beat out, instead of the same conversation being about our 4th choice mid-3*
