For what its worth, Green Run speedster Anthony Scott earned an offer from the Hokies yesterday and moved us to the top of his list, according to 247Sports, leading to the typical flurry of Crystal Ball projections to Tech over ODU.

At least a third of the Thanksgiving disasters have happened to me at some point... Should I be worried?

Current 360 owner..leaning towards the XB1 but won't buy until next year some time.

I'm betting on this, as well as other possible attrition at RB this winter. Think about it, next year we'll have:

Jr. Coleman
R-So. Edmunds
R-So. Mangus
R-So. Caleb
So. Wright - could move to FB but is currently listed at RB
Fr. Williams
Fr. Reid - if he qualifies

That seems like a whole bunch of young talent to me, either Reid isn't going to qualify or coaches believe a current player or two could be on their way out, possibly both. Now I'm not saying I don't want all of them, cause I do. I just have a hard time believing all of these fairly highly recruited guys are going to want to wait for their shot at PT if they can't take it outright next August.

Awesome stuff, as always. I think the VT "disaster" analogy is totally spot-on. I also loved how in discussing Clemson, you pretty much just talked about USC the whole time. That, in and of itself, is exactly what Clemson is right now. They're up there, but everyone stopped talking about them.

Commodore 64 is dope!!!! you should check that out for sure.

I will probably pick up a PS4 in a year or so after developers have worked out all the kinks and familiarized themselves with the hardware. Who knows, the XB1 could turn out to be significantly better and cause me to rethink my decision. The whole Big Brother aspect of that system creeps me out a little too much.

I will say this: Watching videos of the launch titles can best be described as graphics porn. Unreal.

French - as always a great post! I always look forward to these to get better perspective and technical understanding of what happened in a game.

I am still a little puzzled at some of the play calling and wish they would get Edmonds more touches. I definitely think the new coaches are an upgrade, but it will be another year or two before we will truly know how much of an upgrade.

Finally, thanks for the last paragraph, it helps to get a little plea for sanity from someone of your stature on this site - mega turkey legs!!! Now lets go absolutely shred loluva - GO HOKIES!!!

Probably the XBox One first, but even then I'll wait a bit. I have a lot of games I currently need to clear through, and getting a new console/set of games won't help that at all.

We've had a lot of luck over the years with the kids who perform well as seniors in HS and get offers this time of year. Maddy, Dadi, Kam Chancellor and Jimmy Williams are examples. There is a flaw in the Junior tape/camp system, you gotta keep a few spots open for the kids who bloom late.

Influx of RB offers may also reflect on DJ Reid's academic progress at Fuma/Hargraves (wherever he is).
