So, I took time and read the letter...
For the record, "continue to win conference championships" and "opportunity to play for National Championship," had me rolling more than the typos and improper grammar.
Oh, the twelve days were good, too.
Yeah, me too, sadly. I am my own worst enemy sometimes. Those side trips to Amsterdam - they'll get after ya!
Too good to true
I particularly like the mouseover text.
Now we just need someone to create the acutal audio version so that we can have a NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A KEY PLAY: VOLUME 1 mixtape.
So from what I've seen of watching their games and your videos is that they are susceptible to getting run over, corner routes, deep routes, allowing their quarterback to get sacked often, special teams miscues, fumblitis and other various ailments and miscues.
So from this I'd say on offense, a healthy dose of logan and trey doing some bulldozing and logan going deep on crossing routes and post routes to Byrn and Co. On defense, just unleash Dadi and his playmates and watch the FAINT count rise.
I hope we get the noon slot for this game so I can watch it, since we have Women's Basketball at 2 and Volleyball Senior night at 7.
Something like, say, I don't know...38-0?

Very much so. The website makes up for its age with how goddamn pretentious it is
Would it be one for every year? So only 10 verses? I guess that could be feasible. I guess poke some fun at Al Groh too? I dunno, let me think on it. I'll try and post it in 2 days maybe when we're only 10 days out?
I loved the H.O.T. video, it did get the crowd going, but I disagree with the game atmosphere. I know early games are a little bit more subdued then night games, but the crowd was pretty weak.
1. People arrived late, many walking in during the first quarter and not waiting til a dead ball to walk up to their seats. They just meandered in the way of fans who were clearly watching the game. Very un-hokie.
2. Leaving early. Down 21-7 fans were streaming out of Lane like there was a fire drill or that we were down 42-7 or something. A two score game should not drive people out the way they did.
3. The fucking paper airplanes and the wave. Both of these things got wild cheers when the team was either on offense or when they needed to be backed up on defense. The plane shit needs to stop, it makes it look like a high school game out there, and the wave on a key drive in the 4th quarter is just idotic. The only thing that shut the crowd up was Logan getting absolutely creamed on a blitz and the crowd realizing the team was on offense and just took a big hit on their QB because they were waiting to stand and cheer in unison. I mean, really?
He is a much bigger body than Royal or Harvin. I was the one person who wanted him to stay at receiver (although I may ultimately be wrong.) They need that big body to go down field ala Josh Morgan and Justin Harper years ago, plus his ability to run would be useful on screens. Again, Javon Harrison is a huge key. He can be that guy, and if he is, then Caleb will stay in the same role.
With Williams coming in, I still sense that someone is going to transfer. I just don't know who.
... and it didn't hurt that two of our best defenders were out with injuries.
Anybody else get a Freaks vibe from reading this?
"One of us, one us! Gooble Gobble! Gooble Gobble!"
Ho. Lee. Shit. That was beyond amazing. Between this and Wartooth, this may be the best thread I've ever seen.
Do you think Caleb could turn into an Eddie Royal/Percy Harvin type of player? Seems like he is a speedy guy, with good hands- would be a good slot receiver, but also would be a good sweep back.
Or lining up in shotgun on short yardage situations to make 2 yard runs into 7 yard runs
Anyone who could criticize A J Hughes must have been asleep during the 2011 season. Every time I see him I mutter, "Thank God for A J Hughes."
Another speacial team play that was huge was VT's kick return to set up their last score. We were in desperate need of a big play and we got it, if not, we don't make OT and lose early.
Forget special teams, CJ Brown was breaking contain and busting big plays all game, we couldn't stop him when we needed to.
Today marks 12 days out from the ragematch....
We could create the "decade of dominance alternate version"?
Mckinnon I'm pretty sure is one of the wingbacks so I'm sure he was down there, but after this punt I payed attention to who the gunners were and Riley and Clark were always the two out there.
I'd prefer to be more like this
00:00:14–00:00:16
Add to that the fact that UVA has never beaten the ACC non-Champion Hokies, and you get...?
90% of the #decadeofdominance
Very nice - I posted this in another thread earlier this morning. It's been on my favorites on my computer for years!
A few years back, you could type "www.uvasucks.com" into a browser, and it would take you to www.vt.edu
Genius!

No kidding. I threw up a little in my mouth reading the how to dress tab.
