Williams got 5 tds tonight. Bradshaw had a good game too. Lot of commits won conference honors, such as cj, ford, walker, etc.
Edit: Williams also getting closer to enrolling early.
The whole team is gonna struggle when they get to conference play, but I look at some of these freshmen that are getting serious minutes now, and I say, hey, these jokers are gonna be pretty good juniors and seniors one day.
They won 2-0 and VT will host 2nd and 3rd round games next Friday and Sunday.
Speaking of support VT athletics, anyone wanting to get a jump on some Hokie action, come out to the wrestling match at 10 am. #8 vs #9 so it should be an entertaining match.
Good news is Barksdale is back for the next game and it's against VMI which runs the floor well. So it should be a fun, high scoring game. Thompson had a great game, but he is going to have a rude awakening when he realizes teams in the ACC have bigs just as tall, if not taller than him. He will improve in his time at VT, but he, along with much of this team will have some growing pains once the ACC slate hits.
Also, don't much care for the all maroon either.

Kyle was an absolute stud this year. If is a top keeper in the league and is part of the reason our record wasn't worse than what it was. It's a shame his time up in Blacksburg in done, but it will be interesting to see where Briz starts to take this program.

If so the particulates could lead to the cloud buildup (giving the water droplets something to build up on) I'm keeping an eye on the Euro and its saying that there is a chance of rain tomorrow should be like a drizzle (.2 inches at the max) could completely miss, iunno at this point common forecasts go out the window and I have to more guestimate based on models/dew points/LCLs and a few other things and its making it a lot trickier, the bigger stuff is coming next week but any time you get rain with a high pressure system, and no trough its some interesting weather patterns
The miracle in Morgantown...I remember watching that game in the dorms and when the kick sailed through the uprights, you could hear shouting all over campus.
I give JJ credit. He has to deal with the cards that were handed to him. We're know as a football school and he has a big hurdle to overcome trying to right the ship. I think he'll try and do what he can and see what happens. Good luck to him.

I'll second this. I recall that this game was right after Thanksgiving and I had to go down earlier than I normally would have. The campus was dead, it was rainy and cold, but the team ended up with a victory that sent us to the National Championship game. That the day ended with one of the most beautiful sunsets at VT was icing on the cake.
A close second would be the October 16th shellacking of Syracuse. They came in ranked #16, it was College Gameday's first visit to the VT campus, and we ended up crushing them 62-0. At the time, it was one of the largest blowouts of a ranked opponent. Truly epic.
This was the season that spoiled all other VT seasons...

Wow, MD is having the worst injury luck. Hopefully no one gets hurt Saturday for either team. The Hokies have had their share of injuries this season.
Graham was a great kid. We gave him a bit of shit when he declared for the draft, then didn't get drafted. He still had the last laugh though, pretty good career, which is heard just came to an end.
I think Vick was the bigger let down because of talent, CJ had some serious up and downs. Wish we could have moved on a lot sooner.
All our peep holes were reversed as a joke. So bud would have been looking in the room.
This makes me wonder about their strength and conditioning program.
