Exactly.
Jeeze, people, I've seen every single post about possible violations for using people's images. Calm yer tits.

The number can be used. No other way around all the jerseys, shirts, ect. for sale (and that I own) being legal.

I watched that video. Yeah, I watched a kicker's video. But, damn, he has great lift, an excellent leg and his pre-kick routine was so simple and consistent. Very impressive.

Global warming has caused an increase in sharknado activity. There were no recorded instances of sharknados before this year. Now we have 1 on record.

That's the only evidence I have to offer.

CPJ strikes me as the kind of guy who would either watch and wait for you to choose before putting his own hand out, or he would change his once he saw what you were playing. If you play rock then he options to paper, etc.

This was a little later, but I remember the free washer fluid giveaway in 2006 if we scored a touchdown on our first possession of the second half...and it NEVER happened! I saw a shirt that season that said "Sean Glennon owes me washer fluid".

No doubt. I would probably buy at least 10 of them. Two for myself just in case
something happened to the first one. :)

I have a feeling that getting the series with Penn State was pretty special for him too

Te reason they allowed Penn State players to transfer because the punishment was meant to be for the program and the university, not the players that were there. So they were allowed to go anywhere they wanted because of it.

Sims didn't have to sit because he appealed, just as some players have successfully appealed their letter of intent to sign elsewhere, due to extenuating family circumstances. A family member was being treated at UVA medical I believe.

So, we win 100% of the games against Miami with 100% precipitation?

BRING THE RAIN!

BRING THE RAIN!

That was football motivated, yes, but that was also a really different situation than "I don't wanna play for a sucky team".

How in the world did Sims transfer from Bama to LOLUVA without having to sit a year?

I think the offical story was he had a sick grandmother. But I think the NCAA said "isn't UVA FCS?...no, well they should be, so we'll let this one slide."

He's done...
if he was THAT good - some team (FSU) (MIA)
would have found a way to get him on their team.
Can anyone really imagine hearing
him mentioned as a Heisman hopeful ever?

For what its worth (and its not much), I can see Duke beating Miami and losing to UNC. When Morris is on, he is on, his second TD pass against us and those two TD's against FSU in the first half were perfectly throw balls in stride. Problem for Miami he can't do it consistently. But UNC will have a lot to play for in terms of still trying to reach a bowl and can make a statement win (seriously) by stopping Duke from winning the Coastal. Miami already lost to FSU in a much hyped game, followed that up with a dud against us in the clearest path for the Coastal, and lost their playmaker in Johnson in a two week span.

I don't really know about that because they lifted the one year penalty for anyone transferring from Penn State to another school. That was a football motivated decision, not academic. I've always heard it was to keep things fair so a good player can't constantly team hop to the flavor of the year team.

Yep! I had the cleanest windshield in Blacksburg. Even worked as a cleaning agent for wiping away WVU scum..

I had many battles and complaints about Weaver over the years including:

  • Banning the "Stick It In" cheer
  • Trying to ban throwing footballs at tailgates
  • The annoying "Hokie Respect" speech at the start of every game
  • Terrible football schedules, such as long-term deals to play ECU every year
  • Using every timeout or break between quarters to parade out someone onto the field (this was before he became to ill to do that

But overall he was a great AD for the school and I wish him well.

Great write up but to go from a sappy story straight to reading The Toilet Bowl division made me chortle.
