I would say this might be my favorite game because it was FSU, and we got to do their stupid chop back at them. I wholeheartedly agree. I hate that chant. I watch games and constantly think "How could even FSU fans not think this was annoying? You just repeat different sounds of "o" every 10 seconds!"

I was the sports editor of the CT in 1999, so I was standing on the VT sideline when Shayne Graham's kick sailed through. The shower of bottles and batteries from the Morganhole faithful only made it sweeter.
That night we drank beers with a despondent Brad Lewis (WVU's QB that played his nuts off that game). His quote was "Shayne Graham made himself a lot of money with that kick".

I'd love to see a shutout and a blocked punt for TD in this game, that would make my week.
As much as I hate UVA, I'd rather have the shutout on UMD...a lot of MD fans were real high and mighty and giving us a lot of grief when they were beating WVU and we went into 3OT with Marshall, so I'd love to see us lay the smack down this week.
FVCK YEAH ! I am making my "Keep Calm and Sam Rogers". One for me, and one for my 6 foot, 220lb, high school freshman son who idolizes Rogers, Grimm, Cole et. al and is determined to work his way onto the team.
A little bailey's with coffee helps. I admit I got ahead of myself with that post...but I can always dream. I'd rather cheer for GT to win tomorrow night so we can cheer for both Duke and Miami to lose to each other on Saturday. Cheers!

Last I heard he had "opened up" his recruiting again after enrolling in JUCO. VT traditionally doesn't take JUCO players, FSU does. He got offers from FSU and Rutgers last spring after he couldn't sign with VT.

I'd say the 2007 Season overall was a great Hokie Football moment. The 2009 Orange Bowl victory over Cincinnati and the dramatic 2009 victories over Nebraska and the U are definitely up there, as well.
