Six Pick Week 12

The end of the 2013 regular season is almost nigh and I haz sadz. Week 12 doesn't touch week 11 in terms of marquee matchups, but all 6 (well maybe not the B1G Ten game) should be entertaining and competitive. Nothing wrong with that.

Under the radar for many fans, but Auburn is back. So is Gus Malzahn. After a year at Arkansas State, Gus was all but left for dead, he's now reached demigod status by returning to life ... his and Auburn's.

Thursday, November 14th
Georgia Tech at (8) Clemson -10.5 ~~ 7:30 pm ESPN

• I haven't used Clemsoning since early last season, because Dabo's right, his teams aren't Tommy Bowden's teams. The culture is different. So since Clemson looks destined to be an at large BCS bowl participant, they wont jam it all up by losing to GT, right?
• If the ACC made a buddy reality tv show featuring coaches, 'Dabo & Paul' would be the absolute best. I mean, it might only go 3 episodes before CPJ puts Dabo in the hurt locker, but who wouldn't watch this?

Pick: GT getting the points. Paul Johnson is a pain in the ass for a lot of teams, Clemson included.

Saturday, November 16th
(25) Georgia at (7) Auburn -3.5 ~~ 3:30 pm CBS

• No matter how the rest of the season goes for the Tigers, the work Gus Malzahn and staff have done in 11 months means, Gene Chizik should never hold a head coaching job ever again
• Don't look now, but the Dawgs are getting healthy-ish again. They've weathered the health storm and now UGA is gonna be a BIG problem for teams

Pick: UGA getting the points and winning outright, because ONLY in the SEC do the teams eat their own.

(16) Michigan State -6.5 at Nebraska ~~ 3:30 pm ABC or ESPN2

• Say what you will about Bo Pelini, but he isn't going down without a damn fight. After the miracolous win over Michigan, I'm starting to think it's going to take a pile of coke to get him out of Lincoln
• Secretly, I am getting excited to see the Spartan defense matching up with THE Ohio State in the B1G Ten championship game. This will be a fantastic matchup

Pick: Sparty dismantling Nebraska so bad, video of Pelini f-bombing the Husker fans will be seen as it happens.

(23) Miami -2.5 at Duke ~~ 3:30 pm ESPNU

• Do you think the hobos, I mean nerds, errr Duke students would be willing to live in Cutcliffeville for the Fall semester too?
• Lose this and Miami will fall from no. 7 in the polls to no. 6 in the ACC Coastal (right above the hoos) ... that's the Cane definition of Back

Pick: Duke getting the points and winning. Less beat, more disciplined and they want to take it to the final weekend of the season before the ACC Coastal champ is known.

(12) Oklahoma State -2.5 at Texas ~~ 3:30 pm FOX

Pick: Okie State covering. Texas is beat up and Mack cant keep this going forever, right?

• Ed Orgeron has coached his ass off since taking over the head coaching reings from Lane Kiffin. Read that again, ED ORGERON HAS COACHED HIS ASS OFF. Maybe there is a chance for Gene Chizik after all

Pick: Stanford barely covering in a low scoring, boring affair.
