If we win out and Duke wins out, we both finish with two league losses. They would go ahead of us because they beat us head to head.
If GT beat Clemson and it worked out that VT, GT, and Duke were at the top with 2 losses, VT would be the Coastal Rep. At that point it would come down to the divisional record. Duke and GT both have 2 Coastal losses now, while the Hokies would only have one in this scenario.
My secret true confession is that the Coastal winds up in a 5 way tie between VT, Miami, GT, Duke, and UNC, with all at 3 losses. Head Coaches compete in Hunger Games style contest to determine who goes to Charlotte.
Is it true that we need Duke to lose to make it to the ACCCG? Obviously we lost the head to head to them but if it's us, Duke, and GT tied three way at the top (that would mean Duke beats Miami knocking them out) how would that work? Is am I going too far down the tie breaker rabbit hole?
