With a reliable kicker, game is 25 - 10. Reported earlier this week that Journell has back spasms... so did we not bring another place kicker? or Beamer is letting Journell find his own way out of Shankville? Either scenario is bad coaching.
Mmmm, the onsides kick when there's little time left and you're down by 8 or less is generally the accepted move there. However, the kick not going the full 10 yards was derpy on their part
I'm not too concerned here either. ECU plays us well consistently and they were forcing us into passing situations. Every time we ran, the box was loaded. As we prove that we can pass (which we did today), more teams will open up seams for running. I wouldn't walk away feeling too frustrated, offense has to work on finishing and we need journell healthy for next week
