Today starts the international wrestling for a couple of Hokies. Bo Bassett and Ryan Burton are down in Brazil for the U20 Pan Am Championship. To get some international experience for Ryan before the U20 World Championships next Month. And for Bo. To get some matches in. He hasn't wrestled a competitive match since the U20 world team trials in late May. So far. Burton is 2 and 0 with a TF and a Pin. And still waiting for Bo's first match of the day. There's also a big event for future hokies. This weekend is Fargo. A big Freestyle wrestling tournament for High Schoolers. The hokie contingent is very strong for the tournament. Melvin Miller and Killian Coluccio and Mario Carini and Maximus Fortier and Maximus Konopka and Owen McMullen. And two 2028 targets to watch for is Jason Dube and Tommy Wurster.
