Replace A&M with Georgia? Seems like a good game. I think Georgia would be looking for another marquee out of conference opponent. Outside of GT their only other non conference game in 2016 is Georgia Southern.
Edit: Plus, I want more games with SEC girls. Those girls from Alabama were incredible.
I counted a couple more overthrows:
Pass # -- Timestamp in Dozer's video -- player targeted -- description of play
9 --7:04-7:05 -- 80 - Knowles -- Play you mentioned
11 --8:20-8:25 --18 Coles --Overthrown on 3rd and 1 roll out (could also be considered a throw away though)
21 --17:17-17:26 -- 80 - Knowles -- Throw into end zone, Defender actually had a step on Knowles.
22 --17:31-17:36 --5 Stanford --Pass too high because of LB in passing lane
I also thought at least two balls were under thrown to Knowles, the one that hit him in the facemask (Pass #17,on the video you can see that he had a step on the defender, but has to slow down) and a corner route into the endzone where Knowles does a good job of turning into a DB to prevent an INT (Pass #13). Overall I had 6.5 incompletions attributed to bad throws, 2 attributed to throwaways, 1 under thrown check down as Logan was nearly sacked and was falling that could be considered a throwaway,
The only way Logan gets replaced in this game is because it's a blowout and Beamer decides to rest his starters. If Logan does get benched, (and I'm not saying the he will) it would be against a bigger opponent or an ACC team not against a team that Tech will dominate. Bunch of clowns that run Bleacher Report.
Has anybody else played snake with the video at the top of this post? If you press the down arrow during the load screen it turns into a game of snake....never knew that..
Quite a BBQ sauce discussion going on here...It would be fun if someone started a BBQ reciepe sharing thread...Great read. I enjoyed the Stick'em reference but is 5 gallons going to be enough? Seems like we need to cover the receivers with it! #Sacrasm
I was waiting on you to chime in. Rip technique is always my go to. A swim exposes the ribs and if you get double teamed when you initiate your move. The rip is less likely to get to the QB, but if you throw it violently and then bend your arm at the elbow, you essentially trap their arm and hold it to your chest as you push up field. Holding call every time if the official is paying attention.
I can tell you from experience, when you want to know about the art of pass rush leverage moves, the first person on this site to talk to is HokieJoe3
Logan Thomas is not a selfish quarterback. A selfish quarterback rips into his receivers on the field after they drop the ball like ours did the other night. I think a commentator made a note of this. Specifically, he didn't get on Coles after the INT like I saw McCarron do to his offensive line a few times.
Yesterday, ESPN's Trevor Matich on the Paul Finnebaum show said "Alabama will not play a better defense all year, including LSU." Don't remember the timepoints, but it's within this podcast:
I fully expect Dadi Nicolas to destroy someone if they put him in one of the gunner spots.
Thought process of opposing team's punt returner: "Just a linemen running at me, I have time to catch the ball and make a move before he gets to me" *catches ball-boom-muffed punt recovered by Hokies*
Excellent Read.
In terms of bbq sauce (and we're talking American BBQ), I go for no sauce or a vinegar heavy, not too sweet sauce. Most commercial sauces, and especially baby rays, are simply syrup with vinegar and tomatoes. It's not too hard to make your own, plus you can experiment with flavors. I have found chili-basil BBQ sauce to be absolutely delicious.
And yes, BBQ can be an event. However, one cannot serve any hamburgers or hotdogs at such event (This is called a cook out or grill out). If American, the event must serve slow smoked meat. Brazilian BBQ is damn good too.
I wonder if ESPN will ever realize they're the only ones not crediting the VT defense with how bad Bama's stats were on Saturday.
More like this Lunchpail28?
If you're in a short down and distance Shotgun Ace formation counter to.the wide side of the field with aggressive offensive line push gets 4-5 yard about 95% of the time. I use it in goal line situations all the time. Buck sweep also works well to wide side (shotgun Wing trio formation). Then run play action with your TE or slot receiver attacking the middle of the field.
(this is on Heisman mode with realistic sliders by the way)

# | Bitter blog - After drop-filled opener, Hokies WRs put in work on the JUGS machine Tthe $500k+ / year to coach tight ends probably helps ease the pain.
Of course I was still waiting for the WR bubble screen on every first down so everything's new this year
Bravo!
Agree with the lack of downfield receivers other than a couple of fly patterns. After his comments, I assumed this was intentional by Loeffler with his effort to max protect Logan in this game. He probably (correctly) assumed that there would not be enough time for LT to complete a longer developing play / route and cut them all short. Hopefully we'll see more depth in the coming weeks as the line continues to improve and the opponents are less than awesome.

Agreed. I only downvote for offensive posts but not for opinions. Also, I even out people when I think they were downvoted for opinion.

# | Fuller Brothers on Deadspin: The Nation's Best Players Who Will Be Ignored By Heisman Voters Yes, indeed. This is the second deadspin reference we've had since the game. I didn't know they actually paid attention to the real world (aka college football). I thought they were like tmz or something.
Glad to see both of these guys getting dap. Our Chief Technical (a UNC grad who grew up in Tallahassee and is a bigger FSU fan) stopped by the office today to talk our game and his Pitt game and commented that Kyle's pass breakup was one of the best defensive plays he'd ever seen. I showed him Billdozer's BUZZCAP thread and he was even more impressed.
Our D is getting more respect as the week wears on, from all directions except ESPN.
1. I too hate ketchup: the devil's sauce. Why use ketchup when there's hot sauce?
2. I recently found Sweet Baby Ray's in a grocery store in Hallstahammar, Sweden. Hallstahammar is about the size of Pulaski - if you've made it there it's safe to say you're everywhere at that point.
thats pretty awesome.

Get the read option going out of the big shotgun set. Then go play action. Slot is open for a TD almost every time
That's Kristen Bell and I'd gladly have her scold me almost all the time.
Except when we're on defense.
She should be yelling then.
