Wyatt Teller,Derrick Nnadi,Ricky Walker,and Darvin Taylor is a pretty ferociously stout group. I highly doubt anyone runs it up the middle on VT for the next 4-5 years. If they try they're dumber than they look.
Other than LT3, The worst injury this team could have received.
Not to nitpick, but I have to disagree on the potential landing spots.
Miami spent the 8th pick on Tannehill last year. He had a solid rookie season that was completely overshadowed by the greatest crop of rookie QB's ever. No way they give up on him so soon.
KC just gave up a lot to get Alex Smith. Whether or not that was prudent is up for debate, but I don't see them cutting ties with him after one season.
Buffalo just drafted Manuel in the first.
depends, you can play through it IE jason Worilds but depending on severity can last for a while (IE 2 months) however thats a very extreme case. We'll prolly hear about it here shortly and he could very easily be back for the bama game

# | Day of Attrition in Blacksburg: Players Leave Program per Andy Bitter and Nathan Warters) After last year, this doesn't disappoint me too much. They were undisciplined and SOFT. I realize some are injuries, etc. But I'm glad to see we're making it tough again.
Manning is a great example. I got beat out...so I quit. That's much better option than working hard, studying (classroom, film and playbook) and earning a spot.
I don't disagree because that seems to be all the info we've heard about Manning, but I'll play devil's advocate. College is a rough transition for a lot of people, and if he had always had football to provide a foundation for himself, then having trouble in football/school/college transition/away from home will wear down even the best attitudes. Here's hoping he can turn it around, but nothing I've heard makes me expect that.
