that would be a great intentional photobomb all year long! I hope they can get it on national television

Foster also credited Kyle Fuller with coaching up Kyle before he could participate in full team drills. He noted that Kyle has a future in coaching.

I work in Bama and i have said this before. You can tell which one attended class in tuscalussa, or went to a sorry college with no team and just picked Bama. Alumni fans actually have a little class, where as the other is almost completely void of any what soever. It is a shame that 3/4 of there fan base are that latter.

Knob Creek......

Speaking of which, I tailgate every year at the last house on Southgate before you get to the stadium. And every year a couple houses down from there sits a tailgate that always has a massive bottle of bourbon enshrined on a table (I believe it is normally Woodford or Knob Creek). I have always wanted to know who tailgates there and the tradition/story behind that lovely, delicious, obscenely huge bottle.

I'm no Glennon hater like some, but it must be hard for the Glennon family to always be upstaged by Tyrod.

I hope you guys are correct Coles limping is normal....

I wouldn't go that far. "Golden ticket" is probably just a reference to the flashy gold envelope it came in. FSU has already recruited 4 highly touted DT prospects. Reality is he's a lock to play quickly for us, not so much at FSU.

It just really astounds me that he has kids falling for it. He just got some commit out of California too who is meant to be quite good. He may not know how to coach but reluctantly I give him credit for his recruiting.

As mentioned before the only reason he doesn't mention championships and rings is because he has none at D1 level and neither does UVA. He would if he could. This is why he only talks about his religion and being a cop. It's all he has. Recruits are thinking this is him "keeping it real"

but, actually this is as "real" as London gets

Interestingly I ran across a thread of UVA fans venting frustration on the disaster that is London.

Not sure if these fans are in the minority or not but clearly admin has other thoughts on losing being acceptable and are giving him time to prove he can continue losing.

So FSU is offering a lifetime supply of chocolate.... seems legit

He's had a verbal FSU offer for a long time, but the schools can't send written offers to rising seniors until August 1.

I agree, Coles is basically going to have to play through the pain. I almost wonder if he was rushed back too soon last season.

The Hokies again dropped too many passes in practice on Friday, but the offense practiced without receivers D.J. Coles and Charley Meyer. Coles was in shorts and a shirt, taking a prescribed day off to keep his knee healthy, while Meyer was dressed in a blue jersey (limited contact) because of a hamstring injury. So younger and inexperienced guys like E.L. Smiling, Willie Byrn, Deon Newsome, Carlis Parker and freshly moved Chris Mangus getting a lot of reps. The staff moved Mangus from tailback to receiver on Friday.

Offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler does a nice job of jumping on his guys when they make a mistake and then coming back and trying to build them up. He jumped on Carlis Parker after Parker dropped a pass on a crossing route that would have gained about 20 yards. But a minute later, he told Parker, Stay confident. After practice, he told the receivers he liked how they were working and how they were getting open, but they just need to finish the play.

Best - Clemson, Nebraska, Tennessee

Partying with Clemson is just fun because they basically are Tech but with better weather and more blondes. I tried to heckle some Nebraska fans once and they were so nice I felt terrible afterwards. Tennessee fans actually wanted to talk football with me and I was surprised how much they new about Ryan Williams, Tyrod, our coaches and our defense.

Worst - Bama, WVU

Bama guys were trying to pick fights everywhere I went in Atlanta - at bars, bathrooms, tailgates and even inside the stadium. WVU is, well, WVU.

I remember when Mangus committed and after watching his video I thought to myself, man he would be awesome in the slot. He's got Percy Harvin-type moves. And we need more guys who can take it the distance after a catch. He could be that for us. I think it's a great move.

As for Caleb, I'm excited to see what he can do at tailback. Who knows, he could be an animal back there. I think it's exciting. He wasn't getting much hype at wide receiver so my expectations for him there were moderate. Now it's almost like we just got new RB recruit who's had a full year in the Tech weight room. Props to the coaches for being flexible to get playmakers on the field.

More than likely, these "athletes" don't really fit ...and the coaches are searching for some sort of improvisation. Believing that they are creating even more weapons, is wishful thinking IMO
