Do we really want some Brazilian's first impression of college football to be uva?
That's like introducing an alien to earth's cuisine by starting with england
UNC wins to force Game 3 tomorrow
Solid effort. The set piece in the first 2 minutes is our soft spot, and they executed it perfectly. (Not sure if Matt could have set it up better or been in the right spot...) Didnt hate it. And the banger from Robinson was awesome.
I'd like to see Virginia Tech play in Charlotte every December.
The send off game vs Germany shows you what WC means to the US this cycle. Solid first 60 minutes. Reserves playing hard. Fans chanting USA on key moments. Amped to get started!

Just about every GT fan I know (and I live in Atlanta) has traveled to Ireland for at least one the last two games. I'd rather see VT play a premier game abroad than a military bowl, or Charlotte, or whatever. I think all my friends from college would make the trip and we'd make a vacation out of it.

Describe little feat in one word. Badass
WVU not messing around... after blowing out Cal Poly last night 12-2 they are hammering them even harder this afternoon, now 13-1 in the top of the 5th
So Little Feat is a band formed in 1969 who is still playing to this day. Little Feat's musical style is marked by an eclectic fusion of genres, incorporating elements of rock, blues, jazz, country, and funk. Early albums like Sailin' Shoes introduced a blend of country rock with folk influences, while Dixie Chicken showcased a distinctive New Orleans-inspired funk sound that became a hallmark of their style. Their front man, Lowell George, who was once part of Frank Zappas band passed away in 1979, along with several original members since. The current lineup consists of several original members and others who have been with the band for 20 years. The name Little Feat is from a comment from Zappas drummer about Lowell's 'Little feet' which they changed to 'Feat' in homage to the beatles. Waiting for Columbus is a live album considered by many to be one of the top 5 live albums of all time, recorded over 3 nights in 1977 at the Rainbow theater in London and the Lisner auditorium in DC including the 'tower of power' horn section. If you've never heard the album, you really should give a listen. You won't be disappointed. I was lucky enough to see them a few years ago while they were on tour celebrating the 45th anniversary of the release by playing the entire double album verbatim. I also saw them in 1989 or so at Burress Hall in a split bill with the allmans. I camped out for tickets and had ticket number 0001. As far as the meaning behind the title 'waiting for columbus', this link explains it better than I ever could.

I should have read the whole thread before I posted above. I'll help myself to a Blue Moon to pay my penance.
At least our name is showing up more and more. Something to be said for that.
Little Feet were the bipedal predecessors to Bigfoot...
Been running a A1 for 2 years now with the X2D out will be upgrading to that later this year.
Having a solidworks license through work makes this hobby unbelievably addicting to a tinkerer.
Just finished a full scale LOTR Anduril need to finish it and sand it and glue it together for the tv decorations wall. Now to stockpile filament for a full size R2D2
This spring we have been very visible in the recruiting space. Whether that translates into on-the-field results is yet to be seen, but the recruits are at least aware of us in a way that has probably been lacking the last decade or so
It looks bad to troll teams that our down, so I take this as a sign that people are worried about us. No one trolled Vandy or indiana for decades cause they were irrelevant, this means we're relevant
Don't love that VT was among the trolled of course, but it's a funny way to troll folks and I enjoyed it. If he'd chosen VT we'd all be laughing and commending him.
The history lover in me is wondering who "Little Feet" was and why they were so excited for the Europeans to arrive.

Just happen to be wearing this today!
That's nice work. One of my favorite ships too.
That's real nice stuff.
Well, since someone revived this thread, I printed up this one a few weeks ago

Just started painting a Rocinante this week and will finish it when we get back from vacation.
Edit: Rocinante in process
