My full poll is after the jump. As always I'm going to rely on y'all to keep me in check so leave your opinions, thoughts and suggestions in the comments and I'll adjust the poll as necessary.
- LSU or Alabama - Last week you guys convinced me LSU should be in top slot, and for right now I'm leaving them there, but an argument can be made that Alabama deserves it. Both the Tide and Tigers have blown out lesser competition and strangled a top 25 opponent. I believe Oregon is better than PSU, but LSU won what was essentially a home game while Alabama did their dirty work on the road.
- Texas - I have them higher than most. They're talented, but they don't have an identity. There may be a quarterback controversy developing, starter Garrett Gilbert was yanked for a rotation of underclassmen-- Case McCoy and David Ash. It wasn't a sexy win, but they beat what I believe to be a pretty good BYU and like him or not (I don't), Mack Brown is a damn good head coach.
- Auburn - They took every punch Mississippi State threw and stood tall in end. They don't have Cam Newton, but they still have Michael Dyer, an under appreciated running back.
- Michigan St. - Meh.

Where is
Arizona State? And why did Missouri get bumped up? Not that it wasn't close, I just thought ASU looked like a more complete team.
wait...
you bumped wvu up that much.
vt can't pass the ball, wvu can't run it.
ecu > marshall.
Came here just to say that I love that Wisconsin is called the Honey Badgers. Also, Virginia Tech has a legitimate shot to be a non top ten 12-0 team.
I doubt that
We have to beat some good teams to go 12-0
Two issues..
You moved WVU up that much? And second, Ohio State almost lost to Toledo and were about 12 yards from doing so yet they don't move down at all? Did you watch any of that game? Ohio State looked horrible and was handed that game by several special teams mistakes and 14 penalties from Toledo! On top of it, you have Virginia Tech slidding four spots while playing a better team than Toledo on the road. What's your logic?
Also...
Can you explain your reason for bumping Missouri? Maybe it was a close game on the road, but they did lose! And why do you have Nebraska slipping 2 spots? It was a close game but they did pull away late. It seems weird to have them slid yet Texas won by one point with a trio of QBs and they moved up 2.
My issue is
Hokies aren't number 1 (homer)
Didn't see the WVU game but...
they were losing to Norfolk freakin' State at halftime. Even if the final score was a blowout, that's pretty sad.
Also, what others have said about Ohio State. In a fluctuating poll based on week-to-week performance, you should probably drop if you almost lose at home to Toledo considering the Hokies dropped 4 spots for looking sloppy on the road.
F$U
Seminoles at #9? Beeatch please! They have shown me nothing but being deserving of a #1 ranking. I mean even before the season started they have the best players and the best coach with an incredible record. I don't see Miami even on the list, both teams are soooo back! Hate much?
Changes
Mizzou replaced by Arizona State, that was a mistake on my part.
I switched VT and WVU. I watched both games and WVU was able to get it together in the second half for the blowout, while we had to grind it out. They looked more impressive to me. I considered the opponents and venue, but it's not like ECU is known for playing defense. They're young and in a new scheme. We had to run over them because we couldn't get the passing game going, not because they made plays.
Nebraska dropping was a function of USCe and FSU looking better than them.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
