Virginia Tech redshirt sophomore outside linebacker Ronny Vandyke, listed as No. 1 on the depth chart, suffered a sprained right shoulder in Saturdays practice. He spent the rest of the practice with ice on the shoulder and his arm in a sling.
On Sunday, Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine Mike Goforth said Vandyke was not in as much pain today as he thought he would be in.
Goforth said Vandyke will be limited in practice this week and an MRI will be performed.

Phew a lot better than I expected this'll keep him out a week or two tops

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

Good news. Hopefully he can get healthy again soon, and play to his positional role. It's also good that Kendall Fuller seems able to make an immediate impact, as a Corner/Nickelback for appropriate situations.
