Anyway, this is why Virginia Tech defensive line coach Charley Wiles isnt exactly cowering in fear of the up-front matchup on Aug. 31.

Im sure [the new linemen] all very high-caliber kids to begin with; thats who they get, Wiles said media day Saturday. But if youre going to play em, play em first. Were coming in with some experience up front. Youve got to like that. Were excited about it.
