1) I love the Fab5 moniker. I'm not worried that they're not all highly rated. The moniker brings with it expectations, and I hope they'll work to maximize the meaning of Fab5 while they're here.

2) I don't agree with the point about Notre Dame. Alabama regularly destroys other teams when they have time to prepare for them.

Also, what happened with the receiving corps? I heard there was trouble but I haven't heard anything else. Apparently one WR is gone and Caleb is suspended for a game? What's going on our there?

I think the "underrated" Olinemen are a very good thing. VT used to be the underrated school which no one was afraid of, but win or lose, they were beat up afterwards and respected what VT brought to the table. Also, Bitter, you don't like the moniker. Who really cares what they call themselves? Why is "fab 5" reserved for 4 and 5*s? In the NBA, every team has a "big 3".

Tweedy can run like a dadgum antelope or whatever. I like to use scalded dog. Do antelopes lumber? Cheetah, OK. He runs like a cheetah. He's fast. - Bud Foster

I think that "Fab5" is a great moniker. It's a brand that these guys are buying into. When they can set that brand up as a standard, then it's something they can aspire to and something that they can be held accountable for.
