Michael Vick - paying off last debts

Say what you want about him, but I have to admit I respect what he's managed to accomplish since his prison stint. Getting himself back into playing shape, successfully re-entering the league, and now paying off all his debts...I have to say I'm glad to see him taking care of his business responsibly.

Maybe having his financial troubles put behind him will free his mind up more and he'll be able to concentrate on working to improving in the NFL. I'd love to see him get a Super Bowl win for the Iggles. It'd be such a great story.

I'm a firm believer in people having "2nd acts" in life. According to ALL accounts, Vick has turned his life around. He's worked hard to not only become a successful businessman again, but he's worked hard to give back to the community.

It's no surprise to me that someone who grew up in Vick's neighborhood struggled to make a clean break with all the negative influences associated with his upbringing. Rather then wasting energy hating on Vick for taking so long to pull himself clear of those circumstances, I just feel bad that so few are given the opportunity to do the same.

Looks like Ryan Williams is available for trade. I only got the Steelers game last night (watched college football instead), but I heard DW4's backup broke their leg. Seems they need an RB. And Coughlin doesn't worry about fumbling issues. RMFW and DW4 in the same backfield? Pick up Darren Evans for third string and I'll have to root for the Giants occasionally (not against the Skins, of course).
