So how does this play into Foster's goal of having the whip (RVD) be able to stay on the field more?

"I'm too drunk to taste this chicken" - Colonel Sanders via Ricky Bobby

I think Foster is trying to both motivate RVD and create a replacement should he continue to be a liability in pass coverage. Based off comments I read the intent, for now, is for Fuller to still be a CB in the future, but for now they want him on the field and this is a spot they can use him in.

"We judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their behavior" Stephen M.R. Covey

“When life knocks you down plan to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up, if you fall flat on your face it can kill your spirit” David Wilson

I think they're planning to use one or the other more depending on the situation, but want either to be able to play pass or run regardless of the situation. So if a team comes out with spread personnel and shifts/motions into a running formation, Fuller would still be competent to play vs the run and if they move from running to spread, RVD can still play vs. the pass.

Negate that advantage that so many offenses are looking to exploit nowadays.

Would love to see a post about how JC and DJ could be used as mismatches against the Bama Defense coming out of the backfield. French?

I think Kendall wont be called the fourth Fuller for very long...

Hope he becomes known as the #1 Fuller real soon!
