Most definitely deserving. Congrats Kyle!! My favorite Fuller. Anyone think we will see him in the Sun bowl?
He should be healthy, the bowl game is 6 weeks after his surgery (4-6 week recovery), but he might not be able to practice the game plan enough
He's a Fuller. He doesn't NEED to practice the game plan. The only game plan he needs is "Hey Kyle, go do what you do."
I'm surprised Brandon Facyson isn't on that list anywhere..crowded DBlock will do that I guess
Facyson was 2nd in Defensive Rookie of the Year votes
WTG coaches great pick!
Looks like the coaches remembered how much easier their game planning became when they didn't have him to worry about.
Hahaha. Nice one.
Glad for Kyle, he's my favorite Hokie of all time. My first memory of him in Hokie uniform was when he was a freshman playing Miami (at Miami) and I was at that game. He stopped Lamar Miller cold on 4 and 1 which was a big momentum swing in the game. From then on, he was the man! If he didn't get hurt this year, my guess he would have been an All American.
I remember against Wake when he was a freshmen he got burned for a TD. I turned to my dad and said that he was a Fuller, we immediately knew that the play was a fluke and he was going to be a player. Thanks for the memories Kyle.
You will be missed, Kyle Fuller, you and your brothers have been a great asset to Hokie Football
If he didn't get hurt, he would have been a late 1st round to early 2nd round pick IMO. He was having a GREAT season, and was just picking up momentum when he went down with the injury. Was having a special season.
It just goes to show how much the media looks at stats to determine these "all ACC" picks. It's easy to see why he is on the coaches ballot. I mean its those guys who have to consider a guy like Kyle on a weekly basis. Kyle has got to be the most versatile cb in Tech history!
Yeah, I remember a lot of the Draft scout sites has him as the #1 or #2 CB after the Bama game. He was up there on a bunch of them until his injury kept him out and limited for a few games. If he didn't miss those games he might have been an All-American. Draft Scouts aren't dumb, he's probably not going to fall too far down anyone's board.
He may because of the recent injuries. Sure, they know what he can do when healthy, but most teams probably wouldn't risk a 2nd round pick on someone returning from injury.
That's true, he did have surgery on a muscle. If he plays like he did earlier this year in a Senior Bowl and does well at the combine he can probably recover his lost stock.
Really hope he can play in the bowl game. Having him, Tone, Kendall, and BFace game ready would give any offense fits
I'm surprised by this selection but totally agree! What the heck were the writer's thinking? They obviously only watched the Hokies against the school they covered.
Second team All American!
Congratulations to Kyle! That's a well-deserved honor. The list had been surprisingly devoid of Fullers, though...

That's awesome!
Wow. I'm surprised he got that much dap given that he was hurt this year. He gets to be my favorite Fuller for one more game. Then I get to decide again.
