I live in Nashville, and many rumors I'm hearing that Titans coach Mike Munchak is a leading candidate for Penn State. He hasn't been fired by the Titans, though, so we'll see. As a Titans fan, I pray he goes to Penn State.
This is a really good article on O'Brien and a conversation he had with a reporter before his tenure ended: http://www.pennlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/01/bill_obrien_the_outside...
This is definitely a great article, and as someone who has been immersed in State College, PA for nearly a decade, I can tell all of you this is a valuable read in regards to the environment up here.
Well not surprising, but will his successor have the success he had at motivating the team the next two seasons (if not beyond)?
Wonder if Hackenberg would want to transfer? He can redshirt and still have 3 years to play.
Hearing a lot of Greg Schiano, does the Penn State situation need Greg Schiano?
As a Bucs fan, I can tell you - no.
Penn St can do better than Schiano or Golden.
Schiano and Golden are both part of the Paterno coaching tree, I believe.
