That is including Florida State(11-1),Miami(9-3),and Texas(8-5). They played FSU really tough. They played Miami really tough. And they beat Texas. FSU lost Florida in the Bowl Alliance title game that year if you'll remember. Pretty high praise from Welsh. We shat the bed against Syracuse or we'd of been 11-0 with a slight chance to play for the title. Maybe?

I HATE CBS! Im so glad i never had to see a Hokie game televised by that station. Years of having to watch my Pats on CBS almost every sunday in fall the past 10 years has made my hatred for everything CBS sports related even there College football theme irks me. LOL its one of the only few reasons I wouldn't want VT going to the SEC.

VT was #17 in the AP poll as you can clearly see. But the coaches poll had VT #9. No respect from the national media.
