There's hight praise for QB David Cornwell and DT Derrick Nnadi, two targets VT is in the running for.
Five-star David Cornwell (Norman, Okla./North) takes over as the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the cycle. One NFL personnel executive that watched Cornwell on film said he'd "love to have him right now" after seeing his size, arm strength and footwork and that there "was not much not to like" about Cornwell overall. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has a cannon for an arm and all the tools to be special. There is, however, some concern about certain programs not going "all in" on offering this talented prospect. At this point, that keeps him out of the top 10 overall, but after evaluating other quarterbacks and doing comparisons, we feel comfortable with him being tops at his position.
Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) has been dominant on the camp circuit this spring and most importantly, was dominant on the field this past season. The 6-foot-1, 300-pounder, who has some of the top strength numbers in the 2014 class, moves up inside the top 160 in this update.
