Hey TKP'ers, if someone could post a link or something that shows the altercation (like what exactly was the buildup, the punch itself and the aftermath) I would really appreciate it. I turned my head at the end of the play and I missed it and only saw the end results. Again thanks!

From what I've seen, it doesn't look like the moment was ever captured on camera. The closest I've seen is in one clip,you can see the side of Tabb look like its winding up, but no punch is ever shown

Yeah, I was there too and missed it. The replay on HokieVision showed what looked like the 2 guys in a block downfield and as it went to the ground our helmet popped off. Our guy landed on top and just as the UNC guy started to pop up the reply ended.
I missed it as well, I sat down and grabbed my lime Hawaiian Ice then heard everyone's reaction then stood up and just saw the aftermath and the D hyping up the crowd.
from what I was able to put together from actually seeing the punch being thrown and then the build up from the replay is this...tyrel and the unc guy were locked up in a block, the unc guy was pushing tyrel's helmet off, and when tyrel finished his block and took the guy down his helmet came off as well, then the unc guy jumped back up and swung at tyrel (from my point of view which was the middle of the NEZ) he didn't really come close to hitting him. Not 100% sure on that though
Sitting in the east stands about halfway up at the north 40, it looked like he got close but definitely didn't make contact.

the east was chanting A$$ hole at the guy, frankly I dont have much of a problem with it, the guy deserved it for such piss poor sportsmanship. He deserved to get ejected for it and frustrated or not you dont do that

new NCAA rule on ejections: when you get ejected you're required to sit out the next half of football (1st half ejection=sit out second half, second half ejection= sit out first half of next game)
I though that was only for targeting the head of a player. Don't believe that applies to other ejections, but I could be wrong.
I was wrong in that its not originally from the new rule (it is one from previous rule changes regarding fighting)... but, the ejection penalty is the same.

I wish they made it that you're out of this game and you can't play next game, no matter when you were ejected. I'll allow your team to replace you so they aren't playing down a man the rest of the game. (Soccer fan, what can I say)

Seems like there's been an altercation every game about. At the end of the ECU game, Kendall and Hoskins in the Marshall game, and Wilson and Tabb just last weekend. Personally, I like it! Reminds me of the old days, except there are no MV5s to stomp on opposing players' calves (that's too far).
