Ha. I'm not sure if Ford is just really raw and didn't know where to go or whether lining up behind the defensive line was the reason he was sacked so many times.

Based on the Hokiesports video highlights (wasn't there this week but making the trek next week) he barely had time to plant his back foot. The second team OL, which had some veterans (Benedict, Shuman) looked pretty bad in pass protection on those highlights.

I hope I'm not the only one that got super excited to hear that we have a place kicker consistently hitting kicks from good distances midway through the spring.

Some of the sacks were the result of a poor center-qb exchange on the snap.
