I know a lot of people who refused to use the official name, since "Peach Bowl" sounded more like an actual bowl game instead of a fast-food menu item. In any case, with the College Football Playoff starting, participating bowl names are not allowed to be solely that of a corporate sponsor.

That means "The Rose Bowl Game Presented by Vizio (and sponsored by Vizio, endorsed by Vizio, and did we mention Vizio?)" is still good to go. Seriously, did anyone else find it annoying how many times we heard "Vizio" during bowl season last year?
Now we have the "Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl," which undoubtedly will just be the "Peach Bowl," as well it should be, in my opinion. I always prefer the classic bowl names.

Good news.
Hey, if they keep handing out free Chik-fil-a in the tailgating lots and stadium, I'm all for calling it the Chik-fil-a bowl.
Personally, I kinda wish it was the Waffle House Bowl.
One of my favorite bowl game memories with the MVs:
Coming back to the buses after the Chik-fil-a bowl to find coolers full of chicken sandwiches waiting for us. They taste good to begin with, but after the 15 hour day of bowl game activities, chik-fil-a sandwiches taste like heaven.
I seem to remember getting several chicken sandwiches that day. I was so happy
I hunted down all my friends that didn't eat chik-fil-a for the same purpose. So good.
As a guy who couldn't eat his sandwich, mine was in high demand
I also remember a certain tuba player grabbing a six pack of beer off of a pallet, hiding it in his bell, and getting into some serious s***
I'm ok with the corporate sponsors, but definitely prefer the classic name left in there, sounds much better now
Peachy keen.
All I hope is that it continues to be one of the best bowl games every year. Last two years we've had the Clemson comeback against lsu then Johnny football magic this past season. Just want that to continue. Also the bcs went out with a bang great bcs games last season
Fond memories of the Peach Bowl. 1986, VT puts together a great drive in the last two minutes and Chris Kinzer kicks a 40-yard FG in the driving rain to beat NC State, 25-24. VT's first ever bowl victory. I was there...
I can't read this thread title without saying "and you know it will never be wack."

I just got used to calling it the Chick-Fil-A.
