Nice WaPo Article on Bucky Hodges

http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/military-bowl-preview-buck...

I said in another thread that I didn't necessarily think he was ready to be a team leader given some of his immaturity. This article though tells a story of him growing up this year, and learning to make better decisions both on and off the field.

I hang around the right people. At 17, I was probably going to hang around some people that didn't have my best interest, Hodges said. I was young. I didn't even know anything about it. But now that I'm older, I understand everybody doesn't have your best interest. Everybody is not your friend. Now that I'm older, I got a smaller circle. I've got a good group of friends.

I like this new group of friends he's hanging with.

Hell of a guy. I am thrilled he is with us. Cherish every game, guys: If he keeps on his current trajectory, we won't have him for long before the NFL steals him away.

Technically he can leave after next year. I hope he stays and continues a year of development. It already seems so short that we'll have him on the field wether he leaves early or not.
